Kirab Pusaka Seni dan Budaya, Ratusan Warga Berebut Gunungan dan Uang Koin

Bulan Suro atau Bulan Muharam dalam kalender Islam mempunyai makna yang lebih bagi sebagian masyarakat di Pulau Jawa, khususnya Jawa Timur.

Berbagai macam acara dan kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam menyambut Bulan Suro, tak terkecuali masyarakat di Kota Kediri. Bulan Suro tahun ini bertepatan dengan tahun baru Islam 1 Muharram 1441 Hijriyah.

Dalam menyambut bulan Suro atau tahun baru Islam, komunitas Garuda Mukha menggelar kirab pusaka seni dan budaya. Ada ratusan keris dan puluhan tombak pusaka dikirab di sepanjang jalan protokol Kota Kediri.

Arak arakan kirab mengambil start di Jalan Erlangga menuju Jalan Joyoboyo, Jalan Slamet Riyadi, Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Jalan PK. Bangsa dan kembali ke finish ke Jalan Erlangga.

Menurut ketua pelaksana kirab pusaka seni dan budaya Gali Tego mengatakan, peserta yang ikut dalam kirab pusaka kurang lebih 600 orang. Selain Kediri ada juga dari luar daerah yakni Solo, Surabaya, Mojokerto, Malang, Sumatera Utara, Jakarta dan masih banyak peserta dari daerah lainnya khususnya Jawa Timur.

"Untuk pusaka yang dikirab yakni keris dan puluhan tombak era Kerajaan Kadiri. Sebelumnya, senjata pusaka tersebut pada malam hingga dini hari, terlebih dahulu harus dijamas. Setelah dijamas baru dikirab," terang Gali Tego saat memberi keterangan usai acara Grebeg Suro, Minggu (1/9/19) siang.

Sedangkan kirab pusaka, selain membawa keris juga senjata tombak panjang. Peserta kirab juga dimeriahkan barisan kesenian tradisional yang mengiringinya. Di antaranya kesenian Pecut, Jaranan, Reog dan kesenian lainnya.

Selain itu, panitia menyiapkan sejumlah gunungan yang memang dipersembahkan untuk masyarakat. Ada gunungan polo pendem, gunungan berisi sayur mayur, gunungan jajan pasar, gunungan buah-buahan, gunungan ketupat serta gunungan nasi ketan.

Sebelum sampai ke tempat finish, ratusan masyarakat yang sudah lama menunggu di pinggir jalan langsung menyerbu gunungan yang dibawa para peserta kirab. Masyarakat menilai, dengan mendapatkan makanan dan sayuran itu nantinya akan mendapat banyak berkah.

"Mencari berkahnya, kalau semakin kita banyak mengambil gunungan itu tadi insyaallah," kata Lilik (30) warga Banjaran Gg II Kota Kediri.

Lilik mengaku, setiap tahunnya ia tidak pernah ketinggalan dan selalu mengikuti kegiatan Grebeg Suro. Makanan hasil rebutan tadi, seketika itu juga langsung ia makan di lokasi bersama para temannya.

Selain kirab pusaka panitia juga membagikan dono weweh (uang sedekah) berupa uang receh pecahan Rp 500 da Rp 1.000 kepada masyarakat yang menunggu di bawah panggung.

Selanjutnya panitia Komunitas Garuda Mukha melemparkan uang koin tersebut kepada kerumunan masyarakat.

Rebutan dono weweh ini juga berlangsung seru karena setiap warga ingin berebut uang receh sebanyak-banyaknya. Meski ada yang saling tubruk untuk berebut, namun kegiatan berlangsung tertib.

Yudi (31) warga sekitar bersyukur mendapatkan dono weweh sampai Rp 11.000. "Tadi ikut berebut kebetulan dilemparkan ke arah saya sehingga dapat banyak," ujarnya.

Komunitas Garuda Mukha telah menjadikan tradisi tahunan setiap tanggal 1 Suro dengan kegiatan pawai kirab pusaka, rebutan gunungan dan sedekah dono weweh kepada masyarakat.
