Menjelang pergantian tahun 2020-2021, kawasan wisata Pantai Serang, Kecamatan Panggungrejo, Kabupaten Blitar, masih jadi tujuan favorit bagi wisatawan untuk mengisi libur panjang akhir tahun. Hal ini terlihat dari volume kunjungan di kawasan wisata ikonik di Kabupaten Blitar ini.
Seperti diketahui bersama, memasuki liburan Natal dan tahun baru (Nataru), Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Blitar membuat kebijakan tetap membuka destinasi wisata. Kebijakan ini menjadi angin segar bagi masyarakat untuk berwisata di tengah masa pandemi. Namun, guna mencegah penyebaran covid-19, Pemkab Blitar juga mengimbau kepada masyarakat dan pengelola wisata agar tetap patuh dan disiplin protokol kesehatan.

Kepala Desa Serang Dwi Handoko mengatakan, memasuki liburan Nataru kunjungan wisata di kawasan Pantai Serang masih tergolong landai. Bahkan jika dibanding rata-rata kunjungan selama masa pandemi covid-19, kunjungan hari ini termasuk masih normal.
"Kunjungan wisata di Pantai Serang masih tergolong normal. Menurut data kunjungan beberapa hari in, berkisar 1.000-1.200 orang. Padahal angka tertinggi selama musim corona sempat menyentuh 2.000 orang," Handoko kepada BLITARTIMES, Senin (28/12/2020).
Menurut dia, pemberlakuan kebijakan wajib menunjukkan hasil rapid test antigen bagi wisatawan luar daerah yang dibebankan kepada pihak destinasi perlu ditindaklanjuti kembali. Hal ini untuk mengantisipasi penumpukan wisatawan luar daerah di destinasi wisata.
"Pemberlakuan kebijakan wajib menunjukkan hasil rapid test antigen bagi wisatawan luar daerah seharusnya jadi tanggung jawab bersama, baik pemda maupun pihak destinasi. Takutnya wisatawan jauh-jauh dari Surabaya, Pasuruan atau daerah lain tidak tahu kalau ada kebijakan seperti itu. Oleh karena itu, kami mengusulkan ada check point sebelum menuju tempat wisata," ungkapnya.
Handoko memperkirakan lonjakan angka wisatawan baru akan terjadi Jumat (1/1/2021). Persiapan pun dilakukan terutama berkait kesiapan petugas di lapangan. Dan juga koordinasi dengan dinas terkait tentang pengamanan di lokasi wisata.

Selain itu, penerapan protokol kesehatan juga diperketat mulai dari loket loket pintu masuk. Selain melayani wisatawan, petugas juga diminta lebih intensif mengingatkan wisatawan. Khususnya berkenaan kepatuhan protokol kesehatan. Imbauan disampaikan sejak pengunjung melewati pintu masuk maupun di kawasan wisata Pantai Serang.
"Kami juga memberikan imbauan keppada wisatawan untuk tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan. Mulai dari pintu masuk loket hingga di kawasan pantai, kami lakukan pemberitahuan berkala seperti tetap mengenakan masker, sering cuci tangan dan tetap menjaga jarak agar tidak berkerumun," pungkas Handoko.
