Cinema XXI Bolehkan Penonton Bawa Tumbler ke Bioskop, Ini Syaratnya

JATIMTIMES - Kabar soal penonton boleh membawa tumbler ke dalam bioskop akhirnya terkonfirmasi. Jaringan bioskop Cinema XXI resmi memperbolehkan pengunjung membawa botol minum sendiri ke dalam studio, dengan syarat tertentu.

Kebijakan ini disampaikan langsung oleh Head of Cinema Operations Cinema XXI, Ricky Samsoedin. Ia menjelaskan, penonton memang diperbolehkan membawa tumbler, namun hanya untuk air putih.

"Cinema XXI mempersilakan pengunjung membawa tumbler ke dalam studio, dengan catatan hanya untuk tumbler yang berisi air putih/air mineral," kata Ricky, dalam keterangan resminya, dikutip Jumat (24/4/2026). 

Cinema XXI juga menekankan bahwa aturan ini tidak berlaku untuk semua jenis minuman. Jika tumbler berisi selain air putih, penonton tidak bisa membawanya masuk ke dalam studio.

"Pengunjung yang membawa minuman selain air putih akan diminta kesediaannya untuk menyimpan tumbler di tempat penitipan barang yang telah disediakan atau mengonsumsi isinya terlebih dahulu sebelum masuk ke area bioskop," tutur Ricky.

Artinya, penonton tetap harus memastikan isi tumbler sesuai ketentuan sebelum masuk ruang pemutaran.

Menurut Ricky, kebijakan ini dilakukan untuk mendorong kebiasaan penggunaan wadah minum yang bisa dipakai ulang.

"Kebijakan ini menjadi dukungan Cinema XXI terhadap penggunaan wadah minum pakai ulang yang tahan lama demi kelestarian lingkungan," ujarnya.

Langkah ini diharapkan bisa mengurangi penggunaan botol plastik sekali pakai yang selama ini masih banyak digunakan oleh penonton.

Selain faktor lingkungan, Cinema XXI juga memastikan kebijakan ini tidak mengganggu kenyamanan dan kebersihan di dalam studio.

"Untuk menjaga Sistem Jaminan Produk Halal, kebersihan, dan kenyamanan seluruh pengunjung," ungkap Ricky.

Artinya, meski ada kelonggaran aturan, pengunjung tetap diminta menjaga ketertiban selama menonton.

Sebelumnya, kebijakan serupa sempat lebih dulu diterapkan di salah satu jaringan bioskop XXI di Yogyakarta dan mendapat respons positif dari warganet.
