JATIMTIMES – Kota Batu masih menjadi pasar yang menggiurkan bagi peredaran Barang Kena Cukai (BKC) ilegal, khususnya Minuman Mengandung Etil Alkohol (MMEA) atau minuman keras (miras). Terbaru, personel Bea Cukai Malang berhasil membongkar praktik penjualan miras tanpa izin di salah satu titik pusat hiburan di wilayah Desa Songgokerto.

Kepala Kantor Bea Cukai Malang, Johan Pandores, membenarkan. Penindakan tersebut dilakukan pada Selasa (7/4/2026) sore setelah tim menerima laporan masyarakat terkait adanya Tempat Penjualan Eceran (TPE) yang nekat beroperasi tanpa mengantongi Nomor Pokok Pengusaha Barang Kena Cukai (NPPBKC). Lokasi yang menjadi sasaran petugas adalah sebuah tempat karaoke yang berada di Jalan Trunojoyo, Desa Songgokerto, Kecamatan Batu.

Johan mengungkapkan bahwa dalam pemeriksaan yang berlangsung sekitar pukul 16.00 WIB tersebut, petugas menemukan ratusan botol minuman beralkohol dari berbagai jenis dan golongan. "Hasil pemeriksaan di lapangan menunjukkan tempat usaha hiburan tersebut menjual MMEA tanpa memiliki izin resmi. Total ada 806 botol yang kami dapati siap diperjualbelikan kepada pengunjung," ungkap Johan Pandores dalam keterangannya.

Guna kepentingan penyidikan dan mencegah barang-barang tersebut beredar lebih luas, petugas langsung melakukan penyitaan terhadap ratusan botol tersebut. Tak hanya itu, gudang penyimpanan di lokasi tempat hiburan tersebut juga turut disegel oleh petugas sebagai langkah pengamanan barang bukti.

"Wilayah Kota Wisata harus terus diperketat, mengingat sektor hiburan seringkali menjadi celah masuknya barang-barang kena cukai ilegal yang tidak terpantau administrasi negara," tambahnya.

Johan menegaskan bahwa kewajiban memiliki izin NPPBKC bagi pengusaha miras merupakan aturan mutlak yang tidak bisa ditawar. Ia mengingatkan bahwa peredaran MMEA tanpa izin tidak hanya memicu kerugian pada penerimaan negara, tetapi juga memiliki dampak risiko kesehatan dan keamanan yang membahayakan masyarakat karena kualitasnya yang tidak terjamin.

Ia memastikan Bea Cukai Malang akan terus mengintensifkan patroli dan pemantauan di titik-titik rawan di wilayah Malang Raya, termasuk Kota Batu, guna menekan peredaran barang ilegal yang dapat merusak tatanan ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat.

"Kami mengajak para pelaku usaha, terutama di wilayah wisata seperti Kota Batu, untuk patuh terhadap ketentuan cukai. Kepatuhan ini penting demi menciptakan iklim usaha yang sehat," tegasnya.
