JATIMTIMES – Polres Kediri resmi memiliki fasilitas baru berupa lapangan tembak “Tathya Dharaka” yang diperuntukkan bagi peningkatan kemampuan personel dalam penggunaan senjata api. Peresmian tersebut dilaksanakan pada Senin, (27/4/2026), dan dipimpin langsung oleh Kapolres Kediri, AKBP Bramastyo Priaji.
Dengan hadirnya lapangan tembak “Tathya Dharaka”, Polres Kediri diharapkan semakin siap dalam mendukung tugas-tugas kepolisian, khususnya dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat melalui peningkatan profesionalisme personel di lapangan.

Kapolres menjelaskan bahwa pembangunan lapangan tembak tersebut telah dimulai sekitar tiga bulan lalu, ditandai dengan peletakan batu pertama. Fasilitas ini berdiri di atas tanah aset Polri, tepatnya di kawasan Polres Kediri, bersebelahan dengan Polsek Plosoklaten di Jalan Raya Pare–Wates, Desa Ploso Lor, Kecamatan Plosoklaten, Kabupaten Kediri.
“Pembangunan dimulai sekitar tiga bulan lalu dan kini sudah dapat digunakan,” jelas AKBP Bramastyo.
Menurut Kapolres, keberadaan lapangan tembak ini menjadi langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kapabilitas anggota, khususnya dalam hal ketepatan dan keterampilan menembak.
“Tujuannya untuk memberikan ruang latihan yang memadai bagi anggota, sehingga kemampuan penggunaan senjata api bisa terus diasah secara profesional dan terukur,” ujar AKBP Bramastyo.
Ia menambahkan, sebelumnya Polres Kediri memang telah memiliki lapangan tembak, namun kondisinya terbatas dan sudah lama tidak digunakan secara optimal.

Dengan adanya fasilitas baru ini, diharapkan seluruh personel dapat memanfaatkan sarana latihan dengan lebih maksimal. Usai peresmian, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan latihan menembak perdana yang diawali oleh Kapolres Kediri bersama para pejabat utama dan jajaran Kapolsek.
Lebih lanjut, AKBP Bramastyo menegaskan bahwa latihan menembak merupakan kewajiban bagi setiap anggota Polri dan harus dilakukan secara rutin serta berkelanjutan.
“Latihan ini bersifat wajib dan akan dilaksanakan secara bergilir, baik bagi personel Polres maupun Polsek. Dengan begitu, seluruh anggota memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk meningkatkan keterampilannya,” tegasnya.
