JATIMTIMES - Sebuah video yang memperlihatkan anggota DPRD Jember diduga bermain game sambil merokok saat rapat resmi mendadak viral di media sosial. Aksi tersebut menuai kritik dari publik karena terjadi di tengah agenda pembahasan layanan kesehatan masyarakat.
Video itu ramai beredar di Instagram dan berbagai platform media sosial sejak Senin (11/5/2026). Dalam rekaman yang salah satunya diunggah akun Instagram @pak_jitu, seorang anggota dewan tampak fokus memainkan ponselnya di tengah jalannya Rapat Dengar Pendapat (RDP) Komisi D DPRD Jember.

Tak hanya itu. Oknum anggota dewan tersebut juga terlihat merokok di dalam ruangan rapat yang berlangsung secara formal.
Berdasarkan informasi yang beredar, rapat tersebut membahas persoalan layanan kesehatan di Kabupaten Jember. Forum itu turut dihadiri sejumlah pihak penting, mulai dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Jember, BPJS Kesehatan, hingga para kepala puskesmas se-Kabupaten Jember.
Namun di tengah pembahasan, perilaku salah satu peserta rapat itu dinilai tidak mencerminkan etika pejabat publik. Dalam video yang viral, anggota DPRD itu terlihat menatap layar ponsel sambil menggerakkan jari layaknya sedang bermain game. Di saat bersamaan, ia tampak memegang rokok saat rapat berlangsung di ruang tertutup.
Aksi tersebut langsung memicu gelombang komentar dari warganet. Banyak yang menyayangkan sikap anggota dewan tersebut karena rapat membahas isu penting yang berkaitan langsung dengan pelayanan masyarakat.

Sebagian netizen menilai tindakan tersebut tidak etis dilakukan oleh wakil rakyat saat sedang mengikuti forum resmi pemerintahan.

Komentar lain juga menyinggung kemungkinan klarifikasi yang akan disampaikan setelah video viral.
"Kalo udh viral gini nanti jangan sampe bawa2 agama buat klarifikasi ya pak," komentar akun @indah.ariapu***.
Sementara itu, ada pula warganet yang mempertanyakan sikap peserta rapat lain yang dinilai membiarkan tindakan tersebut terjadi di ruang tertutup dan ber-AC.
"Kok ngga ada yg negur ya, padahal Ig rapat penting loh&, ngerokok di ruangan tertutup dan berAC," tulis akun @dwina_fanniaoffic***.
