Sprint race yang berlangsung Sabtu malam menjadi panggung dominasi Ducati. Pebalap Gresini Racing, Alex Marquez, sukses keluar sebagai pemenang setelah tampil konsisten sejak start.
Posisi kedua diamankan rider KTM Factory Racing, Pedro Acosta. Sementara podium ketiga diraih Fabio Di Giannantonio dari Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team.
Di sisi lain, performa Aprilia Racing justru sedikit menurun pada seri Catalunya kali ini. Padahal sebelumnya mereka tampil cukup impresif dalam lima seri awal musim 2026.
Hal itu sudah terlihat sejak sesi kualifikasi. Marco Bezzecchi hanya mampu start dari posisi ke-12, sedangkan Jorge Martin memulai balapan dari urutan kesembilan.
Nasib kurang baik berlanjut di sprint race. Martin gagal finis usai mengalami crash, sementara Bezzecchi cuma mampu menyelesaikan balapan di posisi kesembilan.
Meski begitu, kejutan justru datang dari tim satelit Trackhouse Racing. Raul Fernandez tampil solid dengan finis posisi keempat, sama seperti hasil kualifikasinya.
