JATIMTIMES - Arema FC menutup perjalanan di Super League 2025/2026 dengan hasil manis setelah menundukkan PSIM Yogyakarta dengan skor 3-1 pada laga terakhir musim di Stadion Kanjuruhan, Kabupaten Malang, Jumat (22/5/2026) kemarin. Kemenangan tersebut dipersembahkan pelatih Marcos Santos khusus untuk Aremania yang diperkirakan mencapai 6.502 orang di tribun stadion.
Atmosfer Stadion Kanjuruhan yang kembali bergemuruh menjadi sorotan utama Marcos seusai pertandingan. Kehadiran ribuan Aremania disebut memberikan suntikan motivasi besar bagi para pemain hingga mampu tampil penuh determinasi sepanjang laga.

“Saya sangat senang dengan kehadiran para Aremania dengan jumlah yang banyak, kemenangan ini untuk suporter,” kata Marcos.
Arema FC tampil agresif sejak awal pertandingan demi menutup musim dengan kemenangan di kandang sendiri. Tekanan demi tekanan berhasil dibangun Singo Edan hingga akhirnya mampu mengunci kemenangan 3-1 atas PSIM Yogyakarta yang juga tampil ngotot sepanjang pertandingan.
Marcos menilai kemenangan tersebut tidak diraih dengan mudah. Menurutnya, PSIM mampu memberikan perlawanan sengit karena diperkuat materi pemain berkualitas di berbagai lini permainan.
“Tentu ini pertandingan yang sulit karena PSIM tim kuat dan dilatih oleh pelatih berkualitas,” ujarnya.
Hasil positif pada laga penutup musim itu sekaligus memperbaiki posisi Arema FC di klasemen akhir Super League 2025/2026. Singo Edan menutup kompetisi di posisi kesembilan dengan koleksi 48 poin dari total 34 pertandingan yang dijalani sepanjang musim.
Kemenangan atas PSIM juga melengkapi tren positif Arema FC di akhir musim. Tim kebanggaan Aremania tersebut sukses membukukan tiga kemenangan beruntun sebagai penutup kompetisi, sekaligus menjadi modal penting untuk menghadapi musim berikutnya.

Penjaga gawang Arema FC Adi Satryo mengaku atmosfer dukungan suporter membuat para pemain tampil lebih percaya diri di lapangan. Menurutnya, energi dari tribun mampu meningkatkan semangat bertanding seluruh pemain hingga peluit akhir dibunyikan.
“Tentu ketika di lapangan hal itu mampu membuat kami sebagai pemain jauh bermain lebih bertenaga,” kata Adi.
Adi juga mengungkapkan laga kontra PSIM menjadi momen spesial bagi dirinya setelah sempat menepi cukup lama akibat cedera. Ia menyebut peran Marcos Santos sangat membantu memulihkan rasa percaya dirinya untuk kembali tampil nyaman bersama Arema FC.
“Contohnya di pertandingan kali ini yang menjadi pertandingan pertama-sama setelah cedera panjang, beliau (Marcos Santos) datang untuk menenangkan sehingga saya bisa nyaman di lapangan,” ucapnya.
