JATIMTIMES - Sebanyak 75 peserta meramaikan gelaran Indonesia Coffee Expo (ICX) 2026 di Grand City Convention Hall Surabaya, Jumat (29/5). Pameran industri kopi yang digelar perdana tersebut berlangsung selama tiga hari dan menargetkan transaksi hingga Rp3 miliar. 

Mengusung tema 'Brewing Business, Shaping Lifestyle and Coffee Excellence', ICX 2026 menghadirkan pelaku industri kopi mulai dari produsen, specialty coffee shop, komunitas kopi, hingga pelaku UMKM dari berbagai daerah. 

Mewakili Gubernur, Plt Kepala Dinas Perkebunan Jatim Heru Suseno dalam sambutannya menyampaikan ICX menjadi momentum penting untuk memperkuat rantai industri kopi dari hulu hingga hilir. 

Menurut dia, Jawa Timur memiliki peran besar dalam industri kopi nasional dengan produksi mencapai sekitar 78,8 ribu ton pada 2025. Dan ini menjadi produsen kopi terbesar keempat di Indonesia. 

“Kami berkepentingan terhadap perkembangan kopi Jawa Timur karena di sisi hulu ada petani yang harus terhubung dengan pasar. Kegiatan seperti ini penting untuk memperkuat ekosistem kopi,” kata Heru. 

Sementara itu, Vice Project Director ICX Rumpoko Hadi menambahkan Surabaya dipilih sebagai kota pembuka roadshow nasional karena pertumbuhan ekosistem kopi di Jawa Timur dinilai sangat pesat. 

“Industri kopi di Indonesia saat ini menunjukkan pertumbuhan yang sangat positif. Kopi tidak lagi hanya menjadi produk konsumsi, tetapi sudah menjadi bagian dari gaya hidup, ruang kreativitas, sekaligus peluang bisnis dengan potensi besar,” kata Rumpoko. 

Dia menjelaskan lebih dari 75 brand ikut ambil bagian dalam pameran tersebut dengan sekitar 70 persen peserta berasal dari Jawa Timur. 

Menurut dia, ICX 2026 berbeda dengan pameran kopi pada umumnya karena lebih banyak menghadirkan specialty coffee dan UMKM lokal. 

“Ini pameran specialty coffee. Banyak diikuti coffee shop independen dan UMKM, khususnya dari Jawa Timur. Kami ingin memberi ruang bagi karya anak muda dan pelaku usaha lokal,” ujarnya. 

Penyelenggara menargetkan sekitar 7.500 pengunjung selama pameran berlangsung hingga 31 Mei 2026. 

Selain pameran produk kopi, ICX 2026 juga menghadirkan kompetisi Indonesia Brewers Cup Regional 1 untuk menjaring talenta barista terbaik yang akan melaju ke tingkat nasional. 

Rumpoko melanjutkan penyelenggaraan ICX kali ini berbarengan dengan Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) di area Grand City sehingga diharapkan mampu menarik lebih banyak pengunjung dari segmen gaya hidup. 

“Kami berharap ada kolaborasi pengunjung. Biasanya pecinta otomotif dan penikmat kopi punya irisan gaya hidup yang tidak jauh berbeda,” katanya. 

Sebagai sponsor utama, BTN turut mendukung penyelenggaraan ICX 2026 melalui ekosistem pembayaran digital dan pembiayaan sektor usaha kopi serta horeca (hotel, restoran, dan kafe). 

Direktur Risk Management BTN Setiyo Wibowo mengatakan industri kopi menjadi salah satu sektor UMKM potensial yang terus berkembang seiring tren gaya hidup masyarakat.
