JATIMTIMES - Presiden Prabowo Subianto menunjuk Ketua Umum Partai Buruh, Said Iqbal, sebagai Penasihat Khusus Presiden Bidang Ketenagakerjaan. Pelantikan dijadwalkan berlangsung di Istana Negara, Jakarta, pada Senin (8/6/2026) sore.

Said Iqbal mengonfirmasi bahwa dirinya telah menerima pemberitahuan resmi terkait pelantikan tersebut dari Sekretaris Kabinet. Ia menyebut jabatan yang diembannya merupakan amanah langsung dari Presiden Prabowo untuk memberikan masukan dan pertimbangan terkait isu ketenagakerjaan nasional. "Sebagai Penasihat Khusus Presiden RI Bidang Ketenagakerjaan dengan kedudukan setingkat menteri sesuai Perpres Nomor 137 Tahun 2024," ujar Said Iqbal.

Apa Tugas Penasihat Khusus Presiden?

Berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 137 Tahun 2024, penasihat khusus presiden dibentuk untuk membantu kelancaran pelaksanaan tugas presiden pada bidang-bidang tertentu yang membutuhkan perhatian khusus.

Penasihat khusus memiliki tugas memberikan saran, masukan, dan pertimbangan strategis kepada presiden terkait isu yang menjadi tanggung jawabnya. Dalam menjalankan tugas tersebut, penasihat khusus bertanggung jawab langsung kepada presiden dan berada dalam koordinasi Sekretaris Kabinet.

Jabatan ini memiliki peran yang cukup penting karena dapat digunakan presiden untuk menangani persoalan strategis yang belum secara spesifik ditangani dalam struktur kementerian maupun lembaga yang sudah ada.

Perpres juga mengatur bahwa seorang penasihat khusus dapat dibantu oleh maksimal dua orang asisten. Masing-masing asisten dapat didukung hingga dua orang pembantu asisten.

Seluruh kebutuhan administratif, operasional, hingga pendanaan jabatan tersebut berasal dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN) yang dikelola melalui Sekretariat Kabinet.

Penasihat khusus dapat berasal dari kalangan aparatur sipil negara maupun non-ASN. Masa jabatan mereka berlaku paling lama mengikuti masa jabatan presiden yang mengangkatnya.

Perbedaan Penasihat Khusus, Utusan Khusus, dan Staf Khusus Presiden

Mengacu pada penjelasan Indonesia Baik, Perpres Nomor 137 Tahun 2024 juga mengatur keberadaan utusan khusus dan staf khusus presiden sebagai bagian dari perangkat pendukung kepala negara.

Utusan khusus biasanya ditugaskan untuk menangani isu strategis tertentu, termasuk yang berkaitan dengan hubungan internasional dan diplomasi. Sementara itu, staf khusus presiden lebih banyak berfokus pada dukungan teknis, komunikasi, hingga tugas-tugas khusus yang diberikan langsung oleh presiden.

Jumlah staf khusus presiden paling banyak 15 orang, termasuk sekretaris pribadi presiden. Seluruh unsur tersebut berada dalam koordinasi Sekretariat Kabinet untuk memastikan masukan dan rekomendasi yang diberikan dapat ditindaklanjuti secara efektif.

Dengan penunjukan Said Iqbal sebagai Penasihat Khusus Presiden Bidang Ketenagakerjaan, pemerintah diharapkan dapat memperkuat komunikasi dengan kalangan pekerja serta memperoleh masukan yang lebih komprehensif dalam penyusunan kebijakan ketenagakerjaan di Indonesia.
