JATIMTIMES – Kasus dugaan pengeroyokan yang menyeret nama wakil ketua Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Kota Batu berinisial SA masih dalam penyelidikan kepolisian. Pihak KONI menyebut pihaknya tidak terburu-buru mengambil langkah penonaktifan terhadap salah satu pengurus terasnya karena dinilai belum terbukti.
Sebelumnya, wakil ketua KONI Kota Batu tersebut diketahui tengah tersandung kasus hukum dan berstatus sebagai terlapor dalam dugaan aksi pengeroyokan terhadap seorang pengusaha lokal berinisial RC.

Dalam hal ini, KONI menyerahkan penanganan sepenuhnya ke aparat penegak hukum. Ketua KONI Kota Batu, Sentot Ari Wahyudi, menegaskan hingga saat ini jajaran organisasi belum memiliki dasar yang kuat untuk menjatuhkan sanksi internal maupun pencopotan jabatan terhadap SA.
"Kami tidak melakukan penonaktifan karena perkara ini masih dalam penyelidikan pihak kepolisian. Posisi SA yang sebenarnya di dalam struktur kasusnya seperti apa kan kita semua juga belum tahu pasti," ujar Sentot saat dikonfirmasi, belum lama ini.
Menurut Sentot, selama belum ada putusan hukum berkekuatan tetap (inkracht) dari pengadilan, roda organisasi KONI Kota Batu dipastikan bakal tetap berjalan normal sebagaimana mestinya.
Pihak pengurus memilih memantau secara berkala perkembangan kasus di kepolisian sembari memberikan ruang publik yang cukup bagi SA untuk fokus menyelesaikan persoalan hukum yang membelitnya.
Sentot juga menggarisbawahi secara blak-blakan bahwa insiden keributan yang berujung pada laporan polisi tersebut murni merupakan persoalan personal antarindividu dan sama sekali tidak berkaitan dengan aktivitas resmi lembaganya.
Gesekan fisik itu ditengarai terjadi secara spontan antarpendukung klub di lapangan bulu tangkis Gedung Serbaguna Kelurahan Dadaprejo, bukan atas dasar penugasan, kedinasan, maupun instruksi kerja dari organisasi KONI Kota Batu.
"Terkait kasus ini murni di luar lingkup KONI Kota Batu. Permasalahan personal, bukan melibatkan institusi KONI," ungkapnya.

Karena murni urusan pribadi, Sentot menjamin kasus hukum ini tidak akan membawa dampak sistemik terhadap stabilitas maupun kinerja keorganisasian di tubuh KONI Kota Batu dalam membina para atlet daerah.
Pihaknya berharap persoalan yang menyeret nama SA tersebut dapat segera menemukan titik terang, serta berharap situasi internal organisasi tetap kondusif agar seluruh pengurus bisa kembali fokus menjalankan program kerja utama.
"Harapannya biar proses hukum berjalan sebagaimana mestinya dan masalah ini tidak terlalu diperpanjang. Sehingga Pak SA yang berada di kepengurusan bisa kembali bekerja dengan baik tanpa ada tendensi apa-apa," tandas Sentot.
Sementara itu, dari lembar progres kepolisian, Satreskrim Polres Batu dilaporkan telah memperdalam penyelidikan dengan memeriksa total delapan orang saksi, termasuk memeriksa saksi tambahan di TKP serta tiga pihak terlapor guna mengurai utuh kronologi dugaan pemukulan tersebut.
