JATIMTIMES - Gelombang demonstrasi terkait program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) kembali menjadi sorotan publik. Jika sebelumnya sejumlah aksi mahasiswa di berbagai daerah menyuarakan kritik dan mendesak agar program tersebut dihentikan, kini muncul aksi unjuk rasa dari kelompok masyarakat yang justru menyatakan dukungan terhadap keberlanjutan MBG.

Aksi dukungan terhadap program tersebut dilaporkan berlangsung di sejumlah daerah, seperti Yogyakarta, Jambi, Pekanbaru, dan Medan. Di Yogyakarta, demonstrasi digelar pada Jumat 19 Juni 2026, dan diinisiasi oleh Aliansi Relawan Peduli Bangsa (ARPB) DIY.

Dalam aksi tersebut, massa yang terdiri dari mahasiswa, pekerja, pelaku UMKM, ibu rumah tangga, petani, hingga nelayan membawa berbagai spanduk dan poster. Mereka menyuarakan dukungan terhadap program Makan Bergizi Gratis sekaligus mendorong penguatan transparansi pemerintahan dan komitmen pemberantasan korupsi.

Koordinator aksi, Revan, dalam orasinya menyampaikan bahwa MBG memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia sekaligus menggerakkan perekonomian masyarakat di tingkat akar rumput.

“Program Makan Bergizi Gratis harus terus dilanjutkan dan diperbaiki agar semakin tepat sasaran dan berkelanjutan. Program ini membantu menciptakan generasi yang sehat, cerdas, dan produktif, sekaligus menggerakkan ekonomi rakyat melalui keterlibatan petani, nelayan, peternak, dan pelaku UMKM,” ujarnya.

Selain menyatakan dukungan terhadap MBG, ARPB DIY juga menyampaikan sejumlah tuntutan terkait pemberantasan korupsi. Dalam pernyataan sikapnya, mereka meminta aparat penegak hukum menindak tegas pelaku korupsi tanpa pandang bulu, memastikan proses hukum berjalan secara adil, transparan, dan independen, serta mengajak seluruh elemen bangsa menjaga persatuan dan mengedepankan dialog dalam menyelesaikan berbagai persoalan negara.

Aksi yang mendukung MBG tersebut kemudian viral di media sosial setelah potongan videonya diunggah oleh akun Instagram @pandanganjogja. Unggahan itu memicu beragam tanggapan dari warganet, terutama karena demonstrasi umumnya identik dengan penyampaian penolakan atau kritik terhadap suatu kebijakan.

Beberapa netizen mengaku heran dengan aksi tersebut dan mempertanyakan alasan melakukan demonstrasi untuk menyatakan dukungan terhadap sebuah program pemerintah.

“Demo kok mendukung, kalau mendukung ngapain demo,” tulis akun @prana***.

“Kuyakin mereka ini para pengusaha SPPG atau kru SPPG sendiri,” komentar akun @mama***.

Sementara itu, akun @nia**** menulis, “Kok pada maskeran, pada malu apa gimana ikut demo-demoan. Catatannya banyak banget. Gak dari hati nurani ya, jadi kudu nyontek catatan.”

Sebagai informasi, demonstrasi atau unjuk rasa merupakan bentuk penyampaian pendapat di muka umum yang dilakukan secara bersama-sama oleh sekelompok orang. Aksi tersebut dapat bertujuan menyampaikan kritik, protes, tuntutan, maupun dukungan terhadap suatu kebijakan atau isu tertentu sebagai bagian dari penyampaian aspirasi di ruang publik.

Karena itu, meskipun mendukung program Makan Bergizi Gratis, sekelompok masyarakat tetap dapat menggelar demonstrasi sebagai bentuk penyampaian aspirasi di ruang publik. Dalam konteks ini, aksi unjuk rasa digunakan untuk menunjukkan dukungan terhadap keberlanjutan MBG sekaligus mengawal pelaksanaannya agar berjalan lebih baik, tepat sasaran, dan memberikan manfaat yang maksimal bagi masyarakat.
