Driver Ojol Difabel di Malang Dapat Layanan Prioritas Pembuatan SIM dari Polisi

JATIMTIMES - Pengemudi ojek online (ojol) dan penyandang disabilitas mendapatkan layanan prioritas pembuatan surat izin mengemudi (SIM) di Satpas Polresta Malang Kota, Senin (22/6/2026).

Dengan pendampingan khusus selama proses administrasi hingga ujian, kepolisian berupaya memastikan kelompok difabel memperoleh hak yang sama untuk berkendara secara legal sekaligus mendukung terciptanya keselamatan lalu lintas.

Setiap disabilitas mendapatkan pendampingan khusus mulai dari tahap pendaftaran, pemeriksaan berkas, ujian teori, hingga praktik. Langkah ini dilakukan agar para pemohon dapat mengikuti seluruh tahapan dengan nyaman tanpa mengurangi standar kompetensi yang berlaku.

Kasat Lantas Polresta Malang Kota AKP Rio Angga Prasetyo, mengatakan pelayanan tersebut merupakan bagian dari upaya Polri menghadirkan layanan publik yang lebih inklusif dan ramah bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat, termasuk penyandang disabilitas yang memiliki mobilitas tinggi.

“Pelayanan SIM khusus difabel ini implementasi dari arahan pimpinan Polri agar pelayanan publik semakin inklusif, humanis, dan mudah diakses,” ucap Rio.

“Kami memberikan pelayanan prioritas, pendampingan selama proses hingga ujian, sehingga rekan-rekan difabel dapat mengikuti seluruh tahapan dengan nyaman dan aman,” imbuh Rio.

Mulanya, terdapat tujuh anggota yang mendaftar untuk mengikuti pembuatan SIM khusus difabel dari Komunitas Difa Jek Kota Malang . Namun satu orang berhalangan hadir akibat mengalami kecelakaan, sehingga enam peserta mengikuti seluruh rangkaian pelayanan di Satpas Polresta Malang Kota.

Perwakilan Komunitas Difa Jek Kota Malang, Alfarizky, mengapresiasi perhatian yang diberikan Polri kepada para penyandang disabilitas. Menurut dia, kepemilikan SIM menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi para pengemudi ojol untuk dapat bekerja secara legal dan aman.

“Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Bapak Kapolri dan Polresta Malang Kota yang sudah menjadi wadah dan memberi kesempatan teman-teman disabilitas untuk memperoleh SIM khusus difabel,” katanya.

Alfarizky menambahkan, keberadaan program tersebut membuka peluang lebih luas bagi penyandang disabilitas untuk bekerja secara mandiri. Sebab, SIM menjadi salah satu syarat utama bagi pengemudi ojek online untuk bergabung dengan platform transportasi berbasis aplikasi.

“Bagi driver ojol, SIM menjadi syarat mutlak. Karena itu kami berharap program pelayanan seperti ini terus berlanjut agar semakin banyak penyandang disabilitas punya kesempatan bekerja dan beraktivitas secara mandiri,” terangnya.
