JATIMTIMES - Di era serba digital seperti sekarang, chat menjadi salah satu cara utama untuk berkomunikasi dan mendekati seseorang. Lewat pesan singkat, banyak orang mencoba membangun kedekatan, mengenal lebih jauh, bahkan berharap bisa menjalin hubungan yang lebih serius.

Namun kenyataannya, tidak semua orang memiliki ketertarikan yang sama. Ada kalanya, tanpa disadari, lawan bicara sebenarnya tidak terlalu antusias dengan percakapan yang kita bangun. Menariknya, tanda-tanda ini sering muncul justru lewat hal-hal kecil dalam chat sehari-hari.

Supaya tidak salah paham atau terlalu berharap, berikut beberapa tanda yang bisa kamu perhatikan.

1. Balasan chat sangat lama dan tidak konsisten

Dilansir dari berbagai sumber, salah satu tanda paling umum adalah waktu balasan yang lama dan tidak stabil. Sesekali terlambat membalas memang wajar karena kesibukan, tapi jika hampir setiap pesan baru dijawab setelah berjam-jam bahkan berhari-hari tanpa alasan jelas, ini bisa menjadi sinyal kurangnya ketertarikan.

Apalagi jika terlihat aktif di media sosial, tetapi pesan yang kamu kirim tidak segera direspons. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa percakapan denganmu bukan prioritas baginya.

2. Tidak pernah memulai atau mengembangkan topik

Percakapan yang sehat biasanya terjadi dua arah. Jika hanya kamu yang selalu memulai obrolan, mengajukan pertanyaan, dan mencari bahan pembicaraan, sementara dia hanya menjawab seperlunya, itu patut diperhatikan.

Orang yang benar-benar tertarik biasanya akan ikut menjaga percakapan tetap hidup, bahkan sesekali memulai topik baru atau bertanya balik tentang dirimu.

3. Chat terasa datar tanpa ekspresi

Penggunaan emoji, stiker, atau tanda ekspresi memang bukan ukuran pasti, tetapi sering kali orang yang antusias akan membuat chat terasa lebih hidup.

Sebaliknya, jika balasan selalu terasa datar, kaku, dan tanpa ekspresi—terutama saat kamu sudah mencoba bercanda atau bersikap santai—ini bisa menjadi tanda kurangnya ketertarikan dalam berkomunikasi.

4. Jawaban singkat dan tidak membuka obrolan

Balasan seperti “iya”, “oke”, “sip”, atau “hehe” yang terus-menerus tanpa tambahan penjelasan bisa membuat percakapan berhenti di tengah jalan.

Seseorang yang tertarik biasanya akan memberi jawaban lebih panjang atau menambahkan cerita agar obrolan bisa terus berlanjut tanpa harus selalu dipancing.

5. Tidak menunjukkan antusiasme terhadap cerita kamu

Saat kamu berbagi cerita, perhatikan respons yang diberikan. Jika dia tertarik, biasanya akan ada pertanyaan lanjutan, komentar, atau reaksi yang menunjukkan rasa ingin tahu.

Namun jika setiap cerita hanya ditanggapi singkat atau bahkan terkesan acuh, bisa jadi ia memang tidak terlalu tertarik untuk membangun kedekatan lebih jauh melalui percakapan.

Tanda-tanda di atas bukanlah patokan mutlak, karena setiap orang memiliki gaya komunikasi yang berbeda-beda. Namun jika beberapa tanda tersebut muncul secara konsisten, ada kemungkinan bahwa ketertarikan yang kamu harapkan tidak berjalan seimbang.

Bijaklah dalam membaca situasi agar tidak salah mengartikan perhatian kecil sebagai ketertarikan yang lebih besar.
