JATIMTIMES - Trail run menjadi salah satu aktivitas outdoor yang kini semakin banyak diminati. Berolahraga sambil menjelajah alam, menjadi salah satu tujuan para penghobi trail run.

Bahkan tak jarang, sebagian orang melakukannya dengan tektok, atau pendakian pulang pergi tanpa bermalam. Bagi yang berencana untuk mendaki mencari destinasi untuk tektok, tidak ada salahna mencoba track di Budug Asu.

Budug Asu merupakan sebuah bukit yang secara administratif berada di Kreweh, Desa Gunungrejo, Kecamatan Singosari, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. 

Posisi Budug Asu berada di sekitar lereng kawasan Gunung Arjuno dan Welirang. Pada mulanya spot wisata ini hanya digunakan oleh kalangan motor crosser atau offroader sebagai jalur utama di kaki Gunung Arjuna.

Seiring bertambahnya offroader atau crosser yang datang, pengelola bukit di Malang ini membuat spot foto dan fasilitas lainnya, seperti toilet. 

Alhasil, tidak hanya para outdoor race yang datang, melainkan juga para pemburu foto selfie yang kini mulai mengunjungi tempat ini. Pemandangan Budug Asu sangat indah dengan latar belakang Gunung Arjuna. 

Kondisi geografis dengan karakter track yang berbatu, membuat destinasi ini menawarkan sensasi yang berbeda bagi penghobi trail run. Untuk itu, meskipun hanya tektok, pengunjung disarankan menggunakan sepatu dan yang sesuai.

Untuk ke Budug Asu, para pendaki bisa mengaksesnya melalui jalur menuju Kebun Teh di Singosari Kabupaten Malang. Registrasi juga dilakukan di loket menuju kawasan Kebun Teh, termasuk dengan parkir kendaraan. 

Selain track berbatu, para pendaki juga akan disuguhi dengan jalur yang beragam. Tak hanya terjal, beberapa titik juga terdapat jalur yang landai bahkan menurun. 

Namun, pemandangan yang disuguhkan selama jalur juga cukup menghibur para pendaki. Keasrian hutan masih sangat dirasakan di sepanjang jalur menuju puncak berketinggian 1.422 meter di atas permukaan laut (mdpl) ini.

Bahkan mendekati puncak, para pendaki akan melalui jalur dengan kawasan hutan pinus di masing-masing sisinya. Namun, pendaki harus berhati-hati, biasanya terdapat beberapa anjing liar berkeliaran. 

Usai berjalan sekitar dua jam, pendaki sudah dapat menikmati indahnya perbukitan dari puncak Budug Asu. Bagi para pendaki yang ingin bermalam, pihak pengelola telah menyediakan area yang bisa digunakan untuk mendirikan tenda. 

Saat musim hujan, pendaki disarankan membawa beberapa kelengkapan untuk menjaga kondisi tubuh tetap kering. Seperti jas hujan dan kelengkapan lainnya.
