JATIMTIMES - Hadir dengan konsep baru, Good Swimming Academy Indonesia (GSAI) Swim School telah resmi melakukan rebranding dari sebelumnya Good Swimming Academy Malang. Saat ini, GSAI Swim School hadir lebih profesional dengan berbasis kurikulum.
Hal tersebut diyakini dapat menjadikan GSAI sebagai salah satu pionir kursus renang anak di Malang dengan pendekatan pendidikan yang lebih terstruktur dan berkelanjutan.

Founder GSAI, Muhammad Taufik Hidayatullah, menjelaskan bahwa perubahan ini didasari kebutuhan akan sistem pembelajaran renang yang tidak hanya fokus pada teknik. Namun juga pada perkembangan karakter dan keselamatan air (water safety).
"Dengan sistem progress report setiap tiga bulan, orang tua bisa mengetahui perkembangan anak secara detail. Anak-anak pun jadi lebih semangat dan terarah dalam mengikuti latihan,” ujar Taufik saat ditemui di Kolam Renang Tirta Marabunta Kota Malang, Sabtu (5/7/2025).
Salah satu keunggulan GSAI adalah adanya sistem leveling dan kurikulum renang yang disesuaikan dengan usia dan kemampuan siswa. GSAI Swim School menerima siswa di usia toddler, yakni 2-5 tahun.
"Untuk kelas toddler dengan indikator kesuksesan water safety," imbuh Taufik.
Selanjutnya, untuk kelas kids dan reguler bagi siswa di rentang usia 6-18 tahun. Untuk kelas reguler, terdapat dua indikator kesuksesan yang diberlakukan. Yakni water safety dan penguasaan 4 gaya renang.
Program ini berlangsung sepanjang tahun dan dibagi dalam empat periode. Di akhir setiap periode, siswa menerima rapor cetak sebagai bentuk evaluasi perkembangan. Menurut Taufik, sebelum ada sistem seperti ini, banyak anak yang mengalami stagnasi karena pembelajaran tidak terpantau.
"Dulu anak-anak sering mood-moodan karena tidak tahu target belajarnya. Sekarang kami bantu pantau, dan kalau ada yang progresnya lambat, langsung kami komunikasikan ke orang tua. Biasanya mereka kurang latihan,” jelasnya.
Anak yang mengalami keterlambatan progres akan mendapatkan pendampingan lebih intensif. Selain itu orang tua didorong untuk memastikan kehadiran rutin saat sesi latihan.

Sedangkan untuk biaya, GSAI menawarkan biaya les renang anak dengan kompetitif dan sesuai dengan layanan yang diberikan. Program Privat (2–5 tahun): Rp350.000 – Rp850.000/bulan. Program Reguler (6–18 tahun): Rp250.000 – Rp500.000/bulan.
Dalam setiap paket mencakup maksimal 4 kali pertemuan dalam sebulan. Selain itu, siswa juga mendapatkan berbagai benefit dari rebranding GSAI.
Seperti Sertifikat digital kelulusan, Rapor cetak evaluasi triwulan, Digital membership yang memberikan akses gratis ke beberapa kolam dan berbagai promo khusus.
Dengan pendekatan profesional dan sistematis, GSAI tidak hanya melatih teknik berenang, tetapi juga membentuk karakter, disiplin, serta kesiapan anak dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi di air.
“Kami ingin menjadikan GSAI bukan hanya tempat belajar renang, tapi juga sekolah karakter anak melalui air. Ini bentuk tanggung jawab kami terhadap pendidikan olahraga yang berkualitas,” tutup Taufik.
