JATIMTIMES - Pergaulan remaja Indonesia kini menghadapi tantangan yang semakin kompleks. Data dari Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) pada 2024 menunjukkan bahwa gaya pacaran remaja saat ini tidak sekadar melibatkan interaksi emosional, tetapi juga berpotensi mengarah pada perilaku berisiko. 

Yang lebih mengkhawatirkan, hubungan seksual di luar pernikahan pada usia muda terus mengalami peningkatan, meski tren pernikahan dini justru menurun.

Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN), dr. Hasto Wardoyo, mengungkapkan bahwa angka pernikahan dini di Indonesia telah mengalami penurunan drastis dalam satu dekade terakhir. Sebelumnya berada pada angka 40 per 1.000 penduduk, kini turun menjadi 26 per 1.000. Meski demikian, Hasto menilai angka tersebut masih tergolong tinggi. 

"Bisa dibayangkan kalau setiap 1.000 perempuan itu yang hamil di usia 15-19 tahun itu ada 26. Kalau 100.000 sudah ada 2.600. Kalau 1 juta sudah 26.000. Apa nggak diatasi seperti itu? Kan harus diatasi," ujar Hasto, dikutip VOI, Selasa (4/2/2025). 

Ia juga menjelaskan bahwa usia rata-rata perempuan menikah kini mengalami pergeseran menjadi 22 tahun, dari sebelumnya di bawah 20 tahun. "Ini kabar baik, karena pernikahan di usia muda meningkatkan risiko komplikasi kehamilan, seperti perdarahan, kelahiran prematur, berat badan bayi rendah (BBLR), bahkan kematian ibu dan bayi," jelasnya. 

Namun, Hasto menyoroti fenomena yang justru mengkhawatirkan. "Hanya yang perlu dikritik itu hubungan seksnya itu maju (meningkat)," tegasnya. 

Rata-rata usia pertama kali melakukan hubungan seksual pada remaja meningkat. "Menikahnya rata-rata 22 tahun, tetapi hubungan seksnya 15-19 tahun. Jadi perzinahan kita meningkat. Ini pekerjaan rumah untuk kita semua," ujarnya prihatin. 

Dalam data BKKBN tersebut menunjukkan bahwa 59% remaja perempuan dan 74% remaja laki-laki pernah melakukan hubungan seksual di usia 15-19 tahun. Situasi ini memperlihatkan bahwa seks bebas semakin umum di kalangan anak muda.

Sementara itu, survei HonestDocs terhadap 6.877 responden pada 2023 mengungkapkan bahwa perilaku seksual masyarakat Indonesia, termasuk frekuensi hubungan intim dan masturbasi, semakin meresahkan. 

Di sisi lain Edi Setiawan, Direktur Bina Ketahanan Remaja BKKBN, menyoroti berbagai risiko yang dihadapi para remaja. "Perilaku berisiko remaja mencakup kehamilan remaja usia 15-19 tahun yang mencapai 36 per 1.000 remaja putri, pernikahan dini 7%, hingga kasus aborsi yang mencapai 750 ribu hingga 1,5 juta setiap tahun," papar Edi, pada 19 Desember 2024. 

Ia juga menjelaskan bahwa pola pacaran remaja semakin melibatkan sentuhan fisik. "Sebanyak 59,9% remaja perempuan dan 61,2% remaja laki-laki mengaku pernah berpegangan tangan saat berpacaran," pungkas Edi.
