JATIMTIMES - Kecamatan Karangploso menjadi salah satu wilayah yang paling digemari oleh para developer untuk membangun perumahan. Alasannya, karena dinilai strategis dan ketersediaan lahan untuk perumahan masih banyak.
Kepala Dinas Perumahan Kawasan Permukiman dan Cipta Karya (DPKPCK) Kabupaten Malang Farid Habibah mengatakan, selain Karangploso, sejumlah kecamatan yang berada pada perbatasan antara Kota Malang dan Kota Batu juga turut menjadi favorit pembangunan perumahan oleh para pengembang.

"Berdasarkan data pengesahan rencana tapak periode tahun 2025, Karangploso menjadi kecamatan dengan jumlah pembangunan perumahan tertinggi," ujarnya.
Setelah Karangploso, Dau dan Wagir juga menjadi wilayah kecamatan lainnya yang turut menjadi favorit oleh para pengembang. "Setelah Karangploso, jumlah pembangunan perumahan tertinggi selanjutnya ialah di Kecamatan Dau dan Wagir," imbuhnya.
Sebagaimana diketahui, tiga kecamatan dengan pembangunan perumahan terbanyak di Kabupaten Malang tersebut berada di kawasan perbatasan. Yakni Kecamatan Karangploso dan Dau yang berada di perbatasan Kabupaten Malang dengan Kota Malang dan Kota Batu.
"Sedangkan Kecamatan Wagir berada di perbatasan Kabupaten Malang dengan Kota Malang," imbuhnya.
Meski Habibah tidak merinci secara pasti, namun data perumahan tersebut juga bisa di akses pada inovasi DPKPCK Kabupaten Malang melalui Si Perkasa. Yakni inovasi berupa Sistem Informasi Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman.

Saat di akses melalui alamat website Si Perkasa, tiga kecamatan yakni Karangploso, Dau, Wagir memang banyak dibangun perumahan. Rinciannya, terdapat 90 data perumahan di Kecamatan Karangploso, kemudian 95 data perumahan di Kecamatan Dau, dan 66 perumahan di Kecamatan Wagir.
Data tersebut diakses pada Senin (9/3/2026). Sehingga dimungkinkan masih akan terus bertambah. Termasuk hasil input data perumahan terbaru di Kecamatan Karangploso yang disebut menjadi wilayah pembangunan perumahan tertinggi di Kabupaten Malang.
"Pada periode 2025, terdapat 43 perumahan baru dan 14 perumahan lama yang melakukan pengembangan," pungkasnya.
