JATIMTIMES - Kemeriahan peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun Ke-112 Kota Malang terasa kuat melalui lomba burung berkicau. Kegiatan ini memperebutkan Piala Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Malang.

Panitia menggelar lomba pada Minggu, 12 April 2026. Acara berlangsung sejak pukul 10.00 WIB di Gantangan Pemkot Malang.

Lokasi kegiatan berada di kawasan Malang Satu Titik, Jalan Lowokdoro. Tempat ini dipadati peserta dan penonton sejak pagi hari.

Berbagai kelas lomba dibuka dengan harga tiket beragam. Peserta datang dari berbagai daerah untuk mengikuti kompetisi bergengsi tersebut.

Kelas wali kota menjadi yang paling diminati peserta. Tiketnya mencapai Rp550 ribu dengan hadiah utama hingga Rp5 juta.

Selain itu, panitia menghadirkan kelas wakil wali kota. Kelas ini menawarkan hadiah utama hingga Rp3 juta.

Kelas lain seperti sekda, kadispora, hingga Jatim Times turut meramaikan kompetisi. Kelas wijaya kusuma dan sponsor menjadi pilihan dengan tiket lebih terjangkau.

Setiap kelas memberikan penghargaan bagi para pemenang. Juara satu hingga tiga mendapatkan trofi sebagai bentuk apresiasi.

Ketua panitia Samsul Arifin menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan berjalan sangat lancar. Ia menilai antusias peserta jauh melampaui ekspektasi awal panitia.

“Alhamdulillah pelaksanaan lomba berjalan sangat lancar dari awal hingga selesai. Antusias peserta sangat tinggi, bahkan banyak kelas terisi penuh sejak pendaftaran dibuka,” ujar Samsul Arifin.

Ia menambahkan, peserta tidak hanya berasal dari Kota Malang. Banyak kicau mania dari luar daerah turut ambil bagian dalam kegiatan ini.

Menurut dia, tingginya partisipasi menunjukkan besarnya minat terhadap lomba burung berkicau. Hal ini juga memperkuat posisi Malang sebagai salah satu pusat komunitas tersebut.

Selain hadiah utama, panitia juga menyiapkan berbagai doorprize menarik. Hadiah tersebut menambah semarak suasana sepanjang acara berlangsung.

Doorprize yang disediakan meliputi voucher hotel, produk sponsor, hingga merchandise. Peserta dan penonton tampak antusias menantikan pembagian hadiah tersebut.

Samsul berharap kegiatan ini dapat terus digelar secara rutin. Ia menilai lomba ini tidak hanya kompetisi, tetapi juga ajang silaturahmi komunitas.
