JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Malang mengkaji syarat baru dalam penerimaan murid baru. Bukti imunisasi lengkap dipertimbangkan masuk persyaratan dalam pendaftaran sekolah.
Wacana ini dibahas oleh Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Kota Malang. Tujuannya menekan penyebaran penyakit menular, salah satunya campak.

Kepala Dinkes Kota Malang, Husnul Muarif, mengatakan kajian masih berlangsung. Pihaknya juga berkoordinasi dengan instansi terkait.
"Ini masih dalam kajian kami dan akan kami kolaborasikan dengan Disdikbud," ujar Husnul, belum lama ini.
Ia menyebut kebijakan belum diputuskan secara final. Namun, arah pembahasan menguat pada perlindungan kesehatan anak.
Salah satu opsi adalah mewajibkan bukti imunisasi saat pendaftaran. Aturan ini menyasar jenjang PAUD, TK, hingga SD.
Menurut Husnul, imunisasi penting mencegah penyakit tertentu. Campak masih ditemukan di beberapa wilayah Kota Malang.
"Imunisasi memberikan kekebalan aktif terhadap penyakit yang bisa dicegah," tegasnya.
