JATIMTIMES – Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata (Disporapar) Kota Malang membidik angka kunjungan wisatawan pada 2026 mencapai 3,4 juta orang.  Target tersebut sama dengan capaian realisasi sepanjang 2025 yang bahkan melampaui target awal.

Kepala Disporapar Kota Malang Baihaqi mengatakan bahwa pada 2025 jumlah kunjungan wisatawan tercatat mencapai 3,4 juta orang atau sekitar 103 persen dari target yang ditetapkan sebesar 3,3 juta orang.

“Angka kunjungan wisatawan di Kota Malang pada 2025 mencapai 3,4 juta orang. Sedangkan targetnya 3,3 juta orang. Pada 2026 kami menetapkan target 3,4 juta orang,” ujarnya belum lama ini.

Ia menegaskan, penentuan target tersebut tidak dilakukan secara sembarangan, melainkan berdasarkan evaluasi capaian tahun sebelumnya.

Dari total kunjungan pada 2025, wisatawan Nusantara masih mendominasi dengan jumlah sekitar 3,3 juta orang. Sementara itu, wisatawan mancanegara tercatat sebanyak 78.298 orang.

Menurut Baihaqi, sejumlah destinasi unggulan masih menjadi magnet utama wisatawan, seperti Kampung Kayutangan Heritage.

Bahkan saat momen libur Natal 2025 dan Tahun Baru 2026, Kayutangan Heritage  mampu menarik 5.000 hingga 6.000 pengunjung per hari.

Selain itu, destinasi lain seperti Hawai Waterpark dan Kampung Warna-Warni Jodipan juga turut berkontribusi terhadap tingginya angka kunjungan.

Meski menargetkan angka kunjungan yang tinggi, Disporapar tidak berencana menambah destinasi wisata baru pada 2026. Sebaliknya, strategi yang ditempuh adalah memaksimalkan potensi destinasi yang sudah ada.

Fokus utama diarahkan pada peningkatan kualitas perawatan dan pengelolaan destinasi agar tetap menarik dan nyaman bagi wisatawan.

Tak hanya itu, Disporapar juga mendorong pelaku industri pariwisata, mulai dari agen perjalanan, hotel, hingga restoran, untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. “Karena wisatawan harus memiliki kesan yang menyenangkan sehingga bisa kembali ke Kota Malang,” tuturnya.
