JATIMTIMES – Menjelang musim giling tahun 2026, Asosiasi Petani Tebu Rakyat (APTR) PG Redjosarie Kabupaten Magetan menyuarakan aspirasi mendesak kepada pemerintah. Ketua APTR PG Redjosarie, Hendrad Subiyakto, meminta pemerintah meninjau ulang Harga Acuan Pembelian (HAP) gula petani guna mengimbangi lonjakan biaya produksi yang kian mencekik.
Hendrad mengungkapkan bahwa HAP yang saat ini ditetapkan pemerintah di kisaran Rp 14.500 per kilogram sudah tidak lagi relevan dengan kondisi lapangan. Krisis energi global telah memicu efek domino pada biaya garap petani, mulai dari kenaikan harga pupuk non-subsidi hingga harga karung plastik yang mengalami kenaikan tajam.

"Kami memohon pemerintah menaikkan harga acuan pembelian gula petani menjadi Rp14.800 hingga Rp15.000 per kilogram. Kenaikan ini sangat diperlukan untuk meng-cover biaya produksi yang membengkak akibat krisis global," tegas Hendrad.
"Target tahun ini mencapai 3.700 hektare. Secara pertumbuhan, tanaman tahun ini lebih baik, namun tantangan besar justru muncul dari sisi teknis operasional dan biaya tenaga kerja," tambahnya.
Hendrad menyoroti fenomena "hilangnya" generasi muda yang mau terjun sebagai tenaga tebang muat angkut. Hal ini memicu lonjakan upah borongan yang sangat drastis.Hendrad menekankan bahwa ketergantungan pada tenaga manual harus segera beralih ke mekanisasi atau penggunaan alat mesin pertanian.
"Generasi sekarang hampir tidak ada yang mau terjun ke bidang tebang muat angkut. Akibatnya cost tenaga kerja naik drastis. Mekanisasi kini bukan lagi pilihan, tapi keharusan agar efisiensi tetap terjaga," jelasnya.
Meskipun armada angkutan masih menggunakan BBM subsidi, namun kenaikan komponen lainnya tetap membuat kalkulasi keuntungan petani menipis. APTR berharap saat PG Redjosarie memulai start giling nanti, sudah ada kebijakan yang berpihak pada petani.
"Kami berharap pemerintah melihat kalkulasi ini secara riil. Dengan target produksi yang lebih besar tahun ini, kesejahteraan petani harus dijaga agar ekosistem pertanian tebu terjaga," tutur Hendrad.
Namun, di tengah tantangan biaya, APTR mencatat adanya tren positif pada luas lahan tanam. Jika pada tahun lalu luas lahan di bawah naungan PG Redjosarie berada di angka 3.200 hektare, tahun ini diproyeksikan meningkat signifikan.

Pertumbuhan tebu tahun ini dinilai lebih baik dibanding tahun lalu berkat dukungan cuaca pada masa tanam. Namun, petani kini mengincar target rendemen rata-rata sebesar 7,15%.
"Secara pertumbuhan batang sangat maksimal, tinggal menunggu satu bulan ke depan untuk pematangan. Kami berharap cuaca lebih kering saat giling dimulai akhir Mei nanti agar rendemen bisa terdongkrak," jelas Hendrad.
Mengenai jadwal operasional, PG Redjosarie sendiri diprediksi akan memulai start giling pada akhir Mei 2026. Saat ini, harga gula di beberapa pabrik gula sekitar wilayah Madiun yang sudah bersiap giling berada di angka Rp 68.000 hingga Rp 71.000 (per kuintal/satuan lelang).
Namun, petani masih mengkhawatirkan harga tetes (molase) yang turun drastis dari Rp3.600 menjadi Rp 3.000. APTR berharap pemerintah segera mengambil langkah strategis, termasuk pengendalian impor tetes, agar harga di dalam negeri kembali stabil.
"Semua asumsi ini akan terjawab saat tebang angkut berjalan dua minggu pertama. Kami berharap kebijakan pemerintah benar-benar berpihak pada petani agar semangat menanam tebu di Magetan tetap terjaga," pungkas Hendrad.
