JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kabupaten Jember resmi menyambut energi baru dalam jajaran birokrasinya. Bertempat di Pendapa Wahyawibawagraha pada Senin (27/4/2026). Bupati Jember Muhammad Fawait SE MSc memimpin langsung prosesi pengambilan sumpah/janji pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) serta pelantikan jabatan fungsional.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, sebanyak 223 putra-putri terbaik terpilih resmi menyandang status sebagai PNS. Gus Fawait -panggilan bupati Jember- menaruh harapan besar bahwa kehadiran tenaga-tenaga muda ini akan membawa perubahan signifikan dan memberikan warna baru bagi kualitas pelayanan publik di Bumi Pendhalungan.

Bupati menekankan bahwa kemajuan Jember tidak bisa dicapai jika hanya mengandalkan kerja satu atau dua orang. Dalam hal ini, Gus Fawait menyerukan pentingnya sinergi dan kolaborasi dari seluruh elemen aparatur sipil megara (ASN).

"Saya mengajak kepada seluruh ASN untuk menyampaikan energi positif dan optimisme kepada masyarakat Jember maupun masyarakat di luar Jember, terutama lewat media sosial yang dimiliki oleh para ASN," ujar Gus Fawait usai pelantikan.

Selain masalah birokrasi, Gus Fawait secara tegas menggarisbawahi bahwa tugas utama ASN adalah menjadi motor penggerak kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dia mengajak para ASN baru untuk satu tekad dengan dirinya dalam menuntaskan persoalan kemiskinan.

Bupati mengungkapkan kekhawatirannya terhadap data kemiskinan di Jember yang selama satu dekade terakhir belum mampu beranjak dari angka 200 ribu jiwa. Oleh karena itu, keterlibatan ASN dalam proses verifikasi dan validasi (verval) data kemiskinan menjadi sangat krusial.

Verval desil 1 melibatkan seluruh jajaran mulai dari sekda, kepala BKPSDM, hingga para kepala OPD tanpa terkecuali. "Selain untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat, keterlibatan ASN dalam verval ini bertujuan agar mereka memahami secara langsung permasalahan nyata di lapangan," paparnya.

Dengan target pendapatan asli daerah (PAD) yang diharapkan naik menjadi Rp 1 triliun, Pemkab Jember optimistis mampu menekan angka kemiskinan hingga di bawah 200 ribu jiwa.

"Tujuan dari verval ini, selain ketepatan data, agar para ASN mengetahui permasalahan utama di Kabupaten Jember, yaitu masalah kemiskinan ekstrem, sehingga bersama bupati bisa bersama-sama mengatasi hal tersebut," pungkas Gus Fawait.
