JATIMTIMES - Kasus kekerasan anak di daycare Yogyakarta ternyata menjadi perhatian publik. Hal tersebut ternyata juga turut memicu evaluasi bagi Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Malang. 

Saat ini, Pemkot Malang juga tengah memelototi usaha baby daycare yang ada. Tujuannya untuk mencegah adanya usaha tersebut beroperasi tanpa izin yang sesuai. Wali Kota Malang, Wahyu Hidayat langsung memerintahkan pendataan menyeluruh. Ia melibatkan Dinas Pendidikan, Dinas Kesehatan, hingga Dinas Perizinan.

Wahyu juga meminta camat dan lurah memperketat pengawasan daycare. Langkah itu menyusul kekhawatiran munculnya kasus serupa di Kota Malang. “Dari pengalaman itu, saya sudah minta dinas terkait menindaklanjuti dan mempelajari kasus di Yogyakarta,” ujar Wahyu.

Pemkot Malang tidak hanya mengecek legalitas usaha daycare. Pemerintah juga menilai kualitas layanan dan kompetensi tenaga pengasuh. Wahyu menegaskan setiap daycare wajib menjalankan standar operasional. Pemkot ingin memastikan keamanan anak benar-benar terjaga.

Pemkot masih memberi kesempatan pengelola mengurus izin operasional. Namun, pemerintah menyiapkan penghentian aktivitas bagi daycare yang melanggar aturan. “Kalau sudah memenuhi persyaratan, tentu bisa beroperasi. Tapi kalau tidak memenuhi persyaratan, ya kita suruh hentikan,” tegasnya.

Sorotan juga datang dari DPRD Kota Malang. Anggota Komisi D, Suryadi, meminta audit menyeluruh seluruh daycare. Ia meminta pemerintah memeriksa izin operasional dan penerapan SOP. Menurutnya, pengawasan tidak boleh longgar setelah kasus viral tersebut.

“Saya sangat sedih dan marah. Anak yang seharusnya dilindungi justru diperlakukan seperti hewan,” katanya.

Suryadi juga mendorong pengawasan berbasis teknologi. Ia mengusulkan pemasangan CCTV yang terhubung langsung dengan orang tua. Menurutnya, sistem itu meningkatkan transparansi dan rasa aman. Ia menilai pengawasan anak harus melibatkan pemerintah dan masyarakat.

“Kota Malang tidak boleh ada kejadian seperti itu. Kita harus pastikan anak-anak terlindungi dengan baik,” pungkasnya.
