JATIMTIMES - Libur panjang Hari Buruh di awal Mei 2026 membawa dampak positif bagi sektor perhotelan di Kota Malang. Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia (PHRI) Kota Malang mencatat okupansi hotel rata-rata 70–80 persen dan beberapa hotel tembus 90 persen.
Ketua PHRI Kota Malang, Agoes Basoeki, mengatakan bahwa okupansi hotel selama long weekend kali ini berada di angka yang cukup menggembirakan. Rata-rata tingkat hunian mencapai 70 hingga 80 persen, dengan beberapa hotel mencatatkan okupansi hingga 90 persen.

“Alhamdulillah long weekend saat ini tingkat hunian di Kota Malang cukup bagus, ada di kisaran 70–80 persen, dan beberapa hotel tingkat huniannya bisa mencapai 90 persen,” kata Agoes, Minggu (3/5/2026).
Menurutnya, tren positif ini tidak lepas dari momentum libur panjang yang dimanfaatkan masyarakat untuk berwisata, khususnya ke Kota Malang. Ia pun berharap kondisi ini dapat terus berlanjut sepanjang bulan Mei.
“Melihat banyaknya long weekend, kami berharap untuk bulan Mei 2026 ini bisa membawa berkah bagi pelaku usaha perhotelan dan pariwisata,” imbuhnya.
Meski demikian, Agoes menekankan bahwa kondisi tersebut harus didukung dengan situasi kota yang tetap kondusif. Faktor keamanan, kebersihan, dan kenyamanan menjadi kunci utama dalam menjaga kepercayaan wisatawan.
“Hal tersebut dengan catatan Kota Malang tetap kondusif, aman, tertib, bersih, dan nyaman. Semoga juga suasana geopolitik bisa kembali normal sehingga tidak mempengaruhi minat wisatawan,” jelasnya.
Sementara itu, kondisi ini dirasakan oleh salah satu hotel berbintang di Kota Malang. Assistant Marcom Manager The Alana Hotel Malang, Adi Firmansyah, mengungkapkan bahwa tingkat hunian di hotelnya selama long weekend hampir menyentuh angka 90 persen.

“Okupansi di The Alana Hotel Malang hampir 90 persen. Biasanya setiap long weekend kami bisa tembus hingga 100 persen,” kata pria yang akrab disapa Nose ini.
Ia menambahkan, meski belum sepenuhnya penuh seperti long weekend, angka tersebut tetap menunjukkan tingginya minat wisatawan untuk menginap di Kota Malang.
Peningkatan okupansi ini menjadi hal positif bagi pemulihan dan pertumbuhan sektor pariwisata dan perhotelan di Kota Malang. Dengan berbagai agenda libur panjang sepanjang Mei 2026, pelaku industri berharap tren ini terus berlanjut dan mampu mendorong perputaran ekonomi di Kota Malang.
