JATIMTIMES – Rencana peremajaan salah satu fasilitas publik di Kota Batu dipastikan tertunda dari jadwal semula. Salah satunya, proyek perbaikan lima halte yang awalnya ditargetkan mulai dikerjakan usai Lebaran, kini bergeser dan dijadwalkan baru akan dieksekusi pada September 2026 mendatang.

Meskipun jadwal eksekusi mengalami pergeseran, Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Kota Batu menegaskan bahwa proyek tersebut tidak akan hangus atau dibatalkan. Kepala Bidang Angkutan Dishub Kota Batu, Hari Juni Susanto, memastikan bahwa perbaikan tetap masuk dalam skema prioritas pembangunan tahun ini.

Hari menjelaskan bahwa saat ini pihaknya tengah menunggu proses administrasi terkait penggeseran anggaran agar pengerjaan fisik dapat segera dimulai. Estimasi pengerjaan paling lambat akan digeber pada September nanti dengan durasi pengerjaan yang justru diprediksi akan lebih singkat dari rencana awal.

"Tetap dilaksanakan. Tidak ada halangan di tahun 2026 ini, hanya tinggal menunggu proses penggeseran anggaran saja," terangnya, belum lama ini.

Jika sebelumnya renovasi diprediksi memakan waktu hingga tiga bulan, tim teknis kini memangkas target pengerjaan menjadi hanya 45 hari kalender untuk setiap titiknya. Percepatan durasi ini dimungkinkan karena status proyek merupakan pemeliharaan rutin, bukan pembangunan struktur utama secara total.

Fokus utama dinas adalah melakukan perbaikan pada titik-titik kerusakan tanpa mengubah struktur bangunan secara ekstrem. Langkah ini diambil mengingat kondisi mayoritas halte di Kota Batu saat ini sudah sangat tidak representatif bagi para pengguna transportasi umum.

Berdasarkan hasil uji petik di lapangan, tingkat kerusakan rata-rata halte di wilayah tersebut telah menyentuh angka 80 persen. Kerusakan yang paling mencolok meliputi atap yang bocor, cat dinding yang sudah mengelupas, hingga kerangka samping yang mulai keropos akibat dimakan usia.

Nantinya, sentuhan peremajaan akan meliputi perbaikan atap secara menyeluruh, pengecatan ulang, hingga pengadaan fasilitas tempat duduk yang lebih layak. Program ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kenyamanan penumpang angkutan kota (angkot) sekaligus mendukung estetika Kota Batu sebagai destinasi wisata unggulan.

Dishub berkomitmen agar fasilitas tersebut segera dapat dinikmati kembali oleh masyarakat maupun wisatawan dengan kondisi yang lebih layak dan nyaman. Pihak pemerintah berharap langkah ini mampu memberikan wajah baru bagi sarana transportasi publik di Bumi Kota Wisata. "Kami ingin warga maupun wisatawan merasa nyaman saat menunggu transportasi umum," tandas dia.
