Libur Panjang Kenaikan Yesus, Okupansi Hotel di Kota Batu Bisa Bernafas Lega

JATIMTIMES - Meningkatkanya jumlah wisatawan yang memadati berbagai destinasi di Kota Batu selama libur panjang Kenaikan Yesus Kristus mendongkrak tingkat hunian hotel secara signifikan. Pelaku industri pariwisata mencatat okupansi penginapan di kota wisata rata-rata 70 persen pada puncak kunjungan wisatawan.

Ketua PHRI Kota Batu, Sujud Hariadi, mengatakan peningkatan hunian hotel selama long weekend terasa cukup signifikan dibandingkan hari kerja biasa. Lonjakan ini sejalan dengan meningkatnya arus wisatawan yang datang memanfaatkan libur panjang bersama keluarga.

“Untuk tingkat okupansi hotel di Kota Batu lumayan meningkat dibanding weekday. Rata-rata bisa sampai 70 persen saat puncak kunjungan wisatawan,” kata Sujud, Minggu (17/5/2026).

Menurut Sujud, tren positif tersebut tidak hanya dirasakan sektor perhotelan, tetapi juga destinasi wisata yang mengalami kenaikan pengunjung cukup tajam. Salah satunya terjadi di Taman Rekreasi Selecta yang mencatat lonjakan kunjungan hingga tiga sampai empat kali lipat dibanding akhir pekan sebelumnya.

Sujud yang juga menjabat Direktur Utama Selecta menyebut puncak kunjungan terjadi pada Kamis, 14 Mei 2026. Pada hari tersebut, ribuan wisatawan memadati kawasan wisata bunga dan rekreasi keluarga tersebut sejak pagi hingga sore hari.

“Puncaknya pada Kamis kemarin, peningkatan kunjungan sampai empat kali lipat dibanding weekend biasanya. Ini menunjukkan antusiasme wisatawan ke Kota Batu sangat tinggi selama libur panjang,” imbuh Sujud.

Meningkatnya okupansi hotel dan ramainya destinasi wisata dinilai menjadi sinyal positif bagi pemulihan sektor pariwisata di Kota Batu. Tidak hanya berdampak pada pengelola hotel dan tempat wisata, lonjakan kunjungan juga menggerakkan sektor kuliner, transportasi, hingga pelaku usaha mikro di sekitar kawasan wisata.

Pelaku industri perhotelan pun berharap tren ini terus berlanjut pada periode libur berikutnya, termasuk saat momentum libur panjang Iduladha yang diperkirakan kembali mendatangkan gelombang wisatawan.

“Harapan kami sampai akhir masa libur ini kunjungan tetap tinggi. Kami juga mulai mempersiapkan lonjakan wisatawan pada libur panjang pekan berikutnya saat Iduladha,” harap Sujud.
