JATIMTIMES - Marc Marquez berhasil menembus lima besar klasemen sementara MotoGP 2026 setelah meraih kemenangan pada seri GP Hungaria yang berlangsung di Sirkuit Balaton Park, Minggu (7/6/2026) malam WIB.

Pembalap Ducati itu tampil impresif sepanjang balapan dan sukses mengalahkan Pedro Acosta dalam duel sengit hingga garis finis. Kemenangan tersebut memberikan tambahan 25 poin yang sangat berharga bagi Marquez dalam perburuan gelar musim ini.

Berkat hasil tersebut, Marquez kini mengoleksi 108 poin dan naik ke peringkat kelima klasemen sementara MotoGP 2026. Posisi ini menjadi peningkatan signifikan setelah sebelumnya ia juga keluar sebagai pemenang sprint race pada Sabtu (6/6/2026).

Tambahan poin maksimal di Hungaria membuat juara dunia delapan kali itu melonjak beberapa posisi sekaligus dan kembali masuk dalam persaingan papan atas.

Keberhasilan Marquez juga didukung hasil kurang menguntungkan yang dialami sejumlah rivalnya. Beberapa pembalap yang berada di posisi atas klasemen justru gagal menyelesaikan balapan dan pulang tanpa tambahan poin.

Pemuncak klasemen Marco Bezzecchi tetap bertahan di posisi teratas dengan 180 poin. Namun, pembalap Aprilia tersebut gagal finis setelah mengalami kecelakaan sesaat setelah start.

Nasib serupa dialami rekan setimnya, Jorge Martin. Pembalap asal Spanyol itu terjatuh di tengah balapan sehingga tidak mampu menambah koleksi poinnya. Martin tetap berada di posisi kedua klasemen dengan 160 poin.

Sementara itu, Fabio Di Giannantonio juga gagal menyentuh garis finis. Meski demikian, ia masih bertahan di peringkat ketiga dengan raihan 138 poin.

Pedro Acosta yang finis sebagai runner-up di GP Hungaria kini mengumpulkan 132 poin dan menempati posisi keempat. Di belakangnya ada Marc Marquez dengan 108 poin.

Adapun Francesco Bagnaia masih berada di papan tengah klasemen setelah mengoleksi 99 poin dan menempati posisi ketujuh.

Kemenangan di Hungaria menjadi sinyal bahwa Marc Marquez mulai menemukan konsistensi bersama Ducati. Jika mampu mempertahankan performanya dalam beberapa seri ke depan, peluangnya untuk terus merangsek ke papan atas klasemen MotoGP 2026 masih terbuka lebar.
