JATIMTIMES – Amukan si jago merah kembali melanda permukiman penduduk di kawasan perkotaan Kota Batu. Sebuah bangunan rumah tinggal milik warga bernama Toto Pujo Switanto yang berlokasi di Jalan Imam Bonjol Gang 2, RT 03 RW 02, Kelurahan Sisir, Kecamatan Batu, Kota Batu, hangus terbakar pada Jumat (12/6/2026) malam.
Musibah tersebut memicu kerusakan parah pada sejumlah ruangan, meliputi bagian kamar mandi, area gudang penyimpanan, hingga sebagian dapur rumah korban. Kepala Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan (Damkarmat) Kota Batu, Agung Sedayu, membenarkan adanya laporan insiden kebakaran yang melanda kawasan Kelurahan Sisir tersebut.

Berdasarkan data rekaman internal, panggilan darurat melalui nomor telepon Mako Damkarmat tercatat masuk pada pukul 21.35 WIB. "Petugas mencatatkan response time 6 menit, di mana personel dan armada tempur utama sudah meluncur dan tiba di Titik Kejadian Kebakaran (TKK) pada pukul 21.41 WIB," terang Agung Sedayu, Sabtu (13/6/2026).

Sebanyak empat unit armada pemadam kebakaran juga dikerahkan secara simultan ke lokasi kejadian, yang terdiri atas tiga unit mobil pemadam, dan dua unit armada supply air bawah tanah.
Upaya pemadaman intensif dilakukan dengan mengisolasi perimeter guna mencegah lidah api merembet ke dinding rumah tetangga di samping kanan dan kiri korban.
Setelah melalui perjuangan keras di tengah kepulan asap, amukan api utama akhirnya berhasil dipadamkan secara total pada pukul 22.40 WIB, yang kemudian langsung dilanjutkan dengan proses pendinginan serta investigasi sekunder.
"Dugaan awal pemicu petaka kebakaran ini bersumber dari kegagalan fungsi arus pendek pada jaringan kelistrikan rumah," ungkap Agung.
Dikatakannya, percikan api disinyalir muncul akibat adanya lelehan lampu yang terkena korsleting listrik akibat kondisi instalasi kabel yang tidak memenuhi standar keamanan baku.
Lelehan material lampu yang panas tersebut kemudian jatuh dan langsung menyambar tumpukan bahan serta perabotan yang mudah terbakar di dalam ruangan gudang dan kamar mandi.

Data harian dari Pusat Pengendalian Operasi Penanggulangan Bencana (Pusdalops PB) BPBD Kota Batu memastikan tidak ada korban jiwa maupun luka-luka dalam peristiwa ini.
Meski demikian, dampak material akibat kerusakan bangunan dan hangusnya perabotan di dalam gudang ditaksir mencapai kerugian total kurang lebih Rp35 juta.
Kebakaran ini berdampak langsung pada dua orang penghuni rumah yang kini terpaksa harus diungsikan sementara waktu ke kediaman sanak saudara terdekat sambil menunggu penanganan fisik lebih lanjut.
Operasi pemadaman dapat berjalan kondusif berkat sinergi kokoh antarinstansi di lapangan, mulai dari jajaran Damkarmat, personel BPBD Kota Batu, aparat Polres Kota Batu, Redkar, relawan ambulans, perangkat kampung, hingga kepedulian warga sekitar.
