JATIMTIMES – Momen libur panjang sekolah memicu lonjakan arus kedatangan wisatawan yang signifikan ke Kota Batu. Satlantas Polres Batu mencatat adanya kenaikan volume kendaraan yang masuk ke kawasan wisata.
Kasat Lantas Polres Batu, AKP Matheus Jaka Iswantara menyampaikan, perkiraan peningkatan arus lalu lintas ini diperkirakan menyentuh angka 30 hingga 40 persen dibandingkan dengan hari kerja biasa. Ia menyebutkan bahwa kepadatan kendaraan menunjukkan pola yang kontras antara hari kerja dan akhir pekan.

Menurutnya, pergerakan kendaraan pada saat weekdays atau hari biasa sebenarnya masih terpantau landai dan normal. Namun, situasi arus lalu lintas tersebut langsung berubah drastis ketika memasuki hari Sabtu dan Minggu.
"Menurut kami, di hari-hari biasa masih normal saja. Namun, terjadi peningkatan itu di weekend ya, dengan sasaran tujuan ke tempat-tempat wisata," ujar Jaka.
Menyikapi tren kenaikan ini, Kapolres Batu AKBP Aris Purwanto menginstruksikan jajarannya untuk melakukan penebalan personel di lapangan.
Polres Batu menyiagakan sepertiga kekuatan tambahan di luar anggota reguler untuk disebar ke sejumlah titik rawan kemacetan. Langkah rekayasa dan pengamanan jalur di lapangan dipimpin langsung oleh Pawas Opsnal dibantu tim urai.
"Jadi kami sudah menyiapkan beberapa skema guna mengatasi kepadatan arus lalu lintas ketika ada peningkatan volume kendaraan. Salah satunya dengan menerjunkan personel untuk melakukan pengaturan manual," terang dia.
Salah satu fokus utama rekayasa lalu lintas ini diterapkan di Simpang Empat Arhanud yang menjadi pintu masuk utama dari arah exit Tol Singosari.

Pihak kepolisian menerapkan sistem penarikan kendaraan secara manual ke dalam kota tanpa bergantung pada durasi traffic light. Lonjakan mobilitas wisatawan pada akhir pekan ini ternyata juga berbanding lurus dengan geliat sektor perhotelan.
Menurut pantauan JatimTIMES, arus kendaraan arah masuk maupun keluar Kota Batu terpantau padat pada Minggu siang (5/7/2026). Sebelumnya, arus lalin juga sempat padat merayap ada Sabtu malam kemarin.
Berdasarkan data Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia (PHRI), angka reservasi kamar hotel dilaporkan meroket di atas 70 persen. Pihak kepolisian terus mengimbau para wisatawan agar senantiasa memastikan kondisi kendaraan dalam keadaan prima sebelum berangkat.
"Pengendara juga diminta untuk tetap bersabar serta mematuhi seluruh instruksi petugas yang berjaga di lapangan," imbuh Jaka.
