JATIMTIMES - Libur sekolah menjadi berkah bagi industri perhotelan di Kota Batu. Tingginya arus wisatawan yang memadati berbagai destinasi wisata membuat tingkat hunian hotel melonjak drastis hingga menembus 90 persen pada akhir pekan 3-4 Juli 2026.

Capaian tersebut menjadi yang tertinggi sepanjang tahun 2026. Hal ini juga menunjukkan geliat pariwisata Kota Batu masih menjadi magnet utama bagi wisatawan, khususnya keluarga yang memanfaatkan masa liburan anak sekolah.

Ketua PHRI Kota Batu Sujud Hariadi mengatakan hampir seluruh hotel di Kota Batu merasakan peningkatan jumlah tamu pada akhir pekan pertama Juli. Rata-rata okupansi berada di atas 90 persen.

“Okupansi hotel di Kota Batu meningkat tajam. Rata-rata tingkat hunian selama akhir pekan kemarin mencapai lebih dari 90 persen,” kata Sujud, Kamis (9/7/2026).

Ia menilai angka tersebut berpotensi menjadi rekor okupansi tertinggi yang dicapai industri perhotelan Kota Batu sepanjang tahun ini. “Bisa jadi ini merupakan okupansi tertinggi sementara pada tahun ini,” imbuhnya.

Menariknya, tingginya permintaan kamar tidak diikuti kenaikan tarif secara signifikan. Hotel-hotel di Kota Batu masih menerapkan harga yang relatif lebih bersahabat dibandingkan saat puncak musim liburan seperti tahun baru maupun Idulfitri.

“Tetapi untuk room rate atau tarif kamar tidak setinggi malam tahun baru ataupun libur Lebaran,” jelas Sujud.

Pihaknya memperkirakan tren positif tersebut masih akan berlanjut hingga akhir masa libur sekolah. Meski demikian, tingkat okupansi diprediksi mulai melandai dan tidak akan melampaui pencapaian pada akhir pekan pertama Juli.

“Akhir pekan terakhir libur sekolah nanti okupansi masih tinggi, tetapi kemungkinan tidak akan setinggi minggu kemarin,” imbuh pria yang juga direktur utama Taman Rekreasi Selecta ini.

Untuk menjaga momentum kunjungan wisatawan, PHRI Kota Batu bersama pelaku industri perhotelan telah menyiapkan sejumlah strategi. Salah satunya dengan menerapkan penyesuaian tarif kamar secara dinamis agar tetap kompetitif mengikuti kondisi pasar.

Selain itu, kolaborasi dengan pengelola destinasi wisata juga terus diperkuat melalui penyediaan paket bundling hotel dan tiket masuk objek wisata. Skema ini diharapkan mampu memberikan keuntungan bagi wisatawan sekaligus meningkatkan lama tinggal mereka di Kota Batu.

“Kami sedang mendorong kerja sama antara hotel dengan berbagai taman rekreasi di Kota Batu. Nantinya wisatawan bisa mendapatkan paket bundling berupa kamar hotel dan tiket wisata dengan harga yang lebih ekonomis,” tutup Sujud.
