Direktorat Jenderal Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kementerian Dalam Negeri mulai menerapkan pengurusan akta kelahiran secara online sejak 2018 lalu. Namun sampai sekarang, belum banyak warga yang mengetahui layanan yang mudah diakses di mana-mana itu.

Administrator Database Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil (Dispendukcapil) Kota Malang, Bobby Andrianto menyampaikan, mengurus akta kelahiran secara online pada dasarnya lebih memudahkan masyarakat.

Karena mengurus secara online dapat dilakukan dari rumah. Prosedurnya pun tak jauh beda dengan saat mengurus akta secara manual. Setiap berkas yang menjadi persyaratan mengurus akta itu dapat diunggah melalui aplikasi yang telah disediakan.

"Dan akta yang dicetak secara online atau manual ini memiliki kekuatan hukum yang sama. Bedanya hanya pada barcode pada akta yang dicetak online, dan stempel pada akta yang dicetak manual," jelasnya pada wartawan dalam sosialisasi pengurusan akta online yang berlangsung di Hotel Sahid Montana, Rabu (27/2/2019).

Lebih jauh dia menjelaskan, warga yang hendak mengajukan mengurus akta kelahiran secara online dapat mengakses layanan yang ada di Dispendukcapil. Pemohon dapat klik layanan sebagai pengguna aplikasi.

Selanjutnya pemohon akan mendapatkan SMS kode aktivasi untuk pembuatan akun. Kemudian pemohon mengisi formulir pada aplikasi pencatatan kelahiran dan mengunggah persyaratan dokumen yang dibutuhkan.

"Langkah selanjutnya petugas melakukan verifikasi dan validasi data permohonan. Setelah itu, Pejabat Pencatatan Sipil (PPS) menandatangani dan register akta kelahiran," kata dia.

Setelah semua proses selesai, lanjutnya, PPS membubuhkan tanda tangan secara elektronik pada kutipan akta kelahiran. Sehingga, pemohon bisa mencetak sendiri kutipan akta kelahiran tersebut.

"Nanti pengaman kutipan akta kelahiran ini berupa barcode atau QR code," pungkasnya.
