JATIMTIMES - Terang bulan, atau martabak manis, memang menjadi salah satu camilan favorit banyak orang karena rasanya yang lezat dan menggugah selera. Namun, banyak yang bertanya-tanya, apakah sering mengonsumsi terang bulan berbahaya bagi kesehatan? 

Menurut Dion Haryadi PN1 CHC AIFO-K, seorang dokter umum sekaligus certified nutrition & health coach, terang bulan memiliki kalori yang cukup tinggi, tetapi bukan berarti kamu harus sepenuhnya menghindarinya. 

Terang bulan dikenal sebagai camilan manis yang sering dinikmati bersama keluarga atau teman. Namun, di balik kelembutan adonan dan manisnya topping, terang bulan ternyata memiliki kandungan kalori yang cukup besar. Dokter Dion menjelaskan bahwa per potong terang bulan bisa mengandung 350-400 kalori. 

“Terang bulan itu salah satu dessert yang paling tinggi kalorinya. Per potongnya bisa sekitar 350-400 kalori, setara dengan 1 bungkus mie instan, atau sekitar 300 gram dada ayam mentah, atau sekitar 300 gram nasi putih,” jelas dr Dion, dikutip dari Instagramnya @dionharyadi, Selasa (17/12/2024). 

Tingginya kalori terang bulan ini bisa semakin bertambah jika ditambahkan bahan-bahan seperti mentega atau margarin secara berlebihan. Apalagi jika ditambah dengan topping “tsunami” yang melimpah, seperti cokelat, keju, atau susu kental manis. 

“Kalorinya bisa tambah banyak kalau ditambah mentega atau margarinnya, sama jika toppingnya juga sampai tsunami,” tambahnya. 

Namun, bukan berarti terang bulan sepenuhnya tidak sehat atau harus dihindari. Menurut dr. Dion, jika dibuat dengan cara yang lebih sederhana, seperti tanpa mentega tambahan atau topping yang berlebihan, terang bulan bisa memiliki kalori yang lebih rendah. 

“Makanya terang bulan atau pancake yang  tanpa mentega dan toppingnya tidak berlebihan bisa lebih rendah kalorinya,” katanya. 

Dokter Dion menegaskan bahwa terang bulan tetap bisa dikonsumsi, asalkan dengan porsi yang wajar dan frekuensi yang tidak berlebihan. Menikmati makanan kesukaan sekali-sekali tidak akan berdampak buruk selama pola makan secara keseluruhan dan gaya hidup tetap terjaga. 

“Pada akhirnya berarti terang bulan tidak sehat? Gak juga, saya juga masih suka makan, tapi secara sadar tidak makan terlalu sering dengan porsi yang nggak berlebihan juga,” ungkap dr Dion. 

Lebih lanjut, ia menekankan pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan antara pola makan, olahraga, dan gaya hidup sehat. Menurutnya, menikmati makanan favorit bersama orang-orang terdekat adalah hal yang wajar dan bahkan bisa menjadi momen yang berharga. 

“Tentu juga pola makan di luar ini lalu gaya hidup juga harus tetap dijaga. Jadi sesekali makan makanan yang kita sukai bersama orang-orang yang kita cintai itu bukan jadi momok, tapi jadi memori yang baik,” tutup dr Dion.
