IJTI dan Bupati Lamongan Sepakat Rancang Perbup Tentang Pers

JATIMTIMES - Ikatan Jurnalis Televisi Indonesia (IJTI) Pokja Lamongan bersama dengan Bupati Yuhronur Efendi, sepakat untuk merancang Peraturan Bupati (Perbup) terkait keberadaan insan pers di Kabupaten Lamongan. Hal itu disampaikan oleh Yuhronur saat audensi bersama anggota IJTI Pokja Lamongan, Rabu (8/4/26).

Menurut Yuhronur, peran pers sangat penting di dalam proses pembangunan dan kemajuan suatu daerah. Untuk itu, insan pers sendiri harus memiliki profesionalisme dalam menjalankan tugas-tugasnya sebagai pilar ke empat sebuah demokrasi.

"Kami sangat setuju dengan masukan kawan-kawan IJTI ini. Memang harus dilakukan penertiban selain media yang menaungi ataupun wartawan yang melahirkan karya-karya jurnalistik," ungkap Yuhronur.

Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, lanjut Yuhronur, Dinas Kominfo akan segera merancang draf yang mengatur tentang kriteria media yang bisa melakukan kerja sama dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Lamongan termasuk juga dengan seluruh jajarannya.

“Segera kita lakukan perumusan Perbup tersebut dan nanti kawan-kawan IJTI akan kami libatkan bersama dengan kawan-kawan PWI. Tapi yang jelas, nantinya media yang bisa bekerja sama dengan Pemkab adalah media yang sudah terverifikasi oleh Dewan Pers baik secara administrasi ataupun faktual,” jelas Yuhronur.

Adanya masukan dari IJTI Lamongan tersebut, masih menurut Yuhronur, akan mempermudah kinerja jajarannya dalam melaksanakan program kerja yang telah dicanangkan demi menciptakan lamongan yang berkemajuan. Dengan adanya penertiban tersebut, apa yang disajikan oleh insan pers dapat diserap oleh masyarakat umum dengan apa adanya dengan berdasarkan atas fakta dan data, sekaligus yang terpenting adalah menghindari hoax di kalangan masyarakat.

“Kami sendiri juga butuh sebuah kritikan untuk menjalankan pembangunan. Sebab dengan kritik tersebut kami bisa berbenah diri dan memperbaiki apa yang kurang tepat. Tapi tentu saja itu kritik yang membangun demi untuk kemajuan bersama,” tegas Yuhronur.

Sementara itu, Abdul Wahid, Ketua IJTI Pokja Lamongan mengungkapkan jika penertiban tersebut perlu dilakukan mengingat semakin masifnya media sosial yang keberadaanya hampir menyerupai media massa.

"Dengan adanya Perbup tersebut bisa menjadi edukasi bagi masyarakat sehingga mampu membedakan mana berita yang bersumber dari media sosial, dan mana berita yang merupakan hasil karya jurnalistik," ungkap Wahid yang merupakan kontributor MNC Group tersebut.

Masyarakat sendiri, lanjut Wahid, harus menyadari jika semua tulisan yang lahir dari karya jurnalistik sudah tentu bisa dipertanggungjawabkan karena terlebih dahulu melalui proses yang dilakukan oleh profesionalisme dan dipandu dengan kode etik yang menjadi dasar utama menjalankan profesinya.

"Berbeda dengan media sosial, apa yang disajikan tersebut tidak bisa dipertanggungjawabkan secara hukum karena kadang sumber berita yang tidak jelas," imbuhnya.

Dewan Pers sendiri, telah mengakui IJTI sebagai sebuah organisasi pers yang resmi, selain 3 organisasi pers lainnya yakni Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI), Aliansi Jurnalis Independen (AJI), serta Pewarta Foto Indonesia (PFI). Namun untuk saat ini yang ada di Lamongan hanyalah IJTI dan PWI.
