Kecelakaan lalu lintas terjadi di Jalan Raya Kepuh, Kecamatan Sukun, Kota Malang, Selasa (14/4/2026) dini hari. Dua sepeda motor terlibat tabrakan frontal atau adu banteng yang mengakibatkan tiga orang mengalami luka serius.

Insiden tersebut bermula saat sepeda motor Honda Scoopy bernomor polisi N-2756-EAM melaju dari arah selatan menuju utara. Kendaraan itu dikendarai Hasan Nursalim (39) yang saat itu membonceng Wenny Octavia (31).

Diduga, motor yang mereka tumpangi melebar ke sisi kanan jalan hingga melampaui marka. Pada saat bersamaan, dari arah berlawanan melaju sepeda motor Honda Vario yang dikendarai Eqy Faisol (24).

Karena jarak kedua kendaraan yang sudah terlalu dekat, tabrakan keras pun tidak dapat dihindari.

Benturan tersebut menyebabkan kedua sepeda motor mengalami kerusakan cukup parah. Tiga orang yang terlibat dalam kecelakaan itu dilaporkan mengalami luka serius.

Petugas kepolisian yang datang ke lokasi langsung melakukan evakuasi terhadap korban. Ketiganya kemudian dilarikan ke RSUD dr Saiful Anwar (RSSA) Malang untuk mendapatkan penanganan medis intensif.

Kanit Gakkum Satlantas Polresta Malang Kota, Eko Prasetyo, menyampaikan bahwa kecelakaan diduga dipicu oleh kelalaian pengendara yang melewati batas marka jalan.

“Pengendara Scoopy melaju terlalu ke kanan hingga melewati marka jalan, sehingga bertabrakan dengan kendaraan dari arah berlawanan,” ujarnya.

Setelah kejadian, petugas melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) dan mengamankan kendaraan yang terlibat untuk proses penyelidikan lebih lanjut.

Polisi juga mengingatkan masyarakat agar lebih berhati-hati saat berkendara, terutama pada malam hingga dini hari yang memiliki risiko kecelakaan lebih tinggi.

Pengendara diimbau untuk selalu mematuhi rambu lalu lintas, menjaga jarak aman, serta menggunakan perlengkapan keselamatan seperti helm standar.

Hingga saat ini, pihak kepolisian masih melakukan pendalaman terkait penyebab pasti kecelakaan tersebut.
