JATIMTIMES - Ratusan warga dan pengemudi ojek online memadati halaman Polresta Malang Kota, Jumat (17/4/2026). Mereka meramaikan program Makan Bersama Gratis Sampai Habis yang digelar dalam rangka menyambut HUT Ke-80 Bhayangkara. 

Tak butuh waktu lama, ratusan porsi makanan yang disediakan langsung diserbu warga. Dalam hitungan kurang dari 30 menit, sekitar 500 porsi hidangan pun ludes disantap.

Program bertajuk Makan Bersama Gratis Sampai Habis ini bukan sekadar berbagi makanan, juga menjadi ruang komunikasi terbuka antara polisi dan masyarakat. Warga terlihat santai berbincang, bahkan tak segan menyampaikan berbagai keluhan dan aspirasi secara langsung.

Kasi Humas Polresta Malang Kota Ipda Lukman Sobikhin mengatakan kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal untuk mempererat hubungan emosional dengan masyarakat.

“Ini kali pertama  kami menggelar makan bersama gratis dan respons masyarakat luar biasa. Tidak sampai setengah jam, sekitar 500 porsi sudah habis,” kata Lukman.

Ia menambahkan, kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian menyambut HUT Bhayangkara dengan pendekatan yang lebih humanis dan membumi. “Kami ingin hadir lebih dekat dengan masyarakat, tidak hanya dalam tugas pengamanan, tetapi juga lewat kegiatan sosial seperti ini,” jelasnya.

Beragam menu khas seperti rawon, soto, pecel hingga jajanan tradisional turut disajikan, menambah suasana kebersamaan yang terasa kental. Tak hanya itu. Polresta juga menyediakan layanan cek kesehatan gratis yang bisa dimanfaatkan warga di lokasi.

“Kami juga menyediakan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis. Harapannya masyarakat bisa merasakan manfaat langsung dari kegiatan ini,” tambah Lukman.

Sebelumnya, jajaran Polresta Malang Kota juga menggelar kerja bakti di sejumlah titik, termasuk area tempat pembuangan sampah dan tempat pemakaman umum Samaan sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.

Melihat tingginya antusiasme masyarakat, kegiatan serupa berpeluang digelar secara rutin di berbagai lokasi. “Ke depan, kegiatan seperti ini akan kami upayakan hadir di tempat lain, khususnya setiap hari Jumat, agar kedekatan dengan masyarakat semakin terjalin,” tutup Lukman.
