JATIMTIMES - Nilai tukar rupiah kembali melemah terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat (AS) pada perdagangan Selasa (19/5/2026) pagi. Mata uang Garuda tercatat berada di level Rp 17.706 per dolar AS atau turun 36 poin dibanding perdagangan sebelumnya.

Mengutip data perdagangan pasar spot, rupiah terdepresiasi sekitar 0,20 persen. Pelemahan ini membuat kurs rupiah kembali bergerak di kisaran Rp 17.700-an per dolar AS.

Pergerakan mata uang Asia pagi ini terpantau bervariasi. Yuan China menguat 0,07 persen, peso Filipina naik 0,04 persen, dan ringgit Malaysia terapresiasi 0,03 persen terhadap dolar AS.

Di sisi lain, sejumlah mata uang Asia justru melemah. Dolar Singapura turun 0,06 persen, yen Jepang terkoreksi 0,09 persen, won Korea Selatan melemah 0,55 persen, sedangkan dolar Hong Kong turun 0,03 persen.

Mata uang negara maju juga bergerak campuran. Euro Eropa tercatat melemah 0,06 persen, poundsterling Inggris turun 0,09 persen, dan dolar Australia terkoreksi 0,29 persen.

Sementara itu, dolar Kanada turun 0,07 persen dan franc Swiss melemah 0,09 persen terhadap dolar AS.

Analis mata uang Doo Financial Futures Lukman Leong menilai rupiah sebenarnya berpeluang menguat di tengah mulai meredanya kekhawatiran pasar global.

"Rupiah berpotensi menguat terhadap dolar AS di tengah meredanya kekhawatiran pasar setelah Trump menunda serangan ke Iran," ujar Lukman, dikutip CNNIndonesia, Selasa (19/5/2026).

Meski begitu, Lukman memperkirakan penguatan rupiah masih akan terbatas karena pelaku pasar tetap mencermati sentimen dalam negeri dan arah kebijakan Bank Indonesia.

"Walau demikian, penguatan mungkin terbatas mengingat sentimen domestik yang masih lemah serta antisipasi investor terhadap RDG BI yang diperkirakan akan menaikkan suku bunga," katanya.

Ia memprediksi pergerakan rupiah pada perdagangan hari ini berada di rentang Rp 17.600 hingga Rp 17.700 per dolar AS.
