JATIMTIMES - Komitmen Pemerintah Kota Malang dalam menjaga kualitas infrastruktur terus diperkuat. Pada 2026 ini, Pemkot Malang melalui Dinas Pekerjaan Umum, Penataan Ruang, Perumahan, dan Kawasan Permukiman (DPUPRPKP) mengalokasikan anggaran sebesar 2,5 miliar rupiah untuk perawatan dan pemeliharaan jalan di berbagai wilayah Kota Malang.

Anggaran tersebut difokuskan untuk penanganan jalan secara rutin maupun insidental guna memastikan kenyamanan dan keselamatan masyarakat saat berkendara. Langkah itu menjadi bentuk keseriusan Pemkot Malang dalam merespons kebutuhan warga terhadap infrastruktur jalan yang aman dan layak. Terlebih, sejumlah ruas jalan di Kota Malang menjadi jalur padat aktivitas masyarakat setiap harinya.

Salah satu contoh titik yang menjadi perhatian berada di Jalan Juanda, Kelurahan Jodipan, Kecamatan Blimbing. Di kawasan tersebut ditemukan beberapa lubang di badan jalan yang berpotensi membahayakan pengguna jalan, khususnya pengendara roda dua. Keberadaan jalan berlubang di jalur alternatif dari Jembatan Brantas menuju Jalan Muharto itu langsung masuk dalam pemantauan DPUPRPKP Kota Malang.

Kepala Bidang Bina Marga DPUPRPKP Kota Malang Kristiyan Bagus Muryanto mengatakan, pihaknya secara rutin melakukan patroli jalan untuk memastikan kondisi infrastruktur tetap terjaga. Selain patroli, pihaknya juga membuka ruang aduan masyarakat agar penanganan kerusakan jalan dapat dilakukan lebih cepat dan tepat sasaran.

“Kalau perbaikan rutin biasanya kami lakukan dengan cara overlay (perbaikan dengan cara memberi lapisan aspal baru di atas jalan lama) untuk satu ruas jalan,” kata Bagus.

Pada 2026 ini, DPUPRPKP Kota Malang telah menyiapkan perbaikan rutin di 10 lokasi berbeda. Metode overlay dipilih untuk menjaga kualitas permukaan jalan agar lebih nyaman dilalui dan memiliki daya tahan lebih baik.

Menurut Bagus, panjang ruas jalan yang diperbaiki disesuaikan dengan kondisi di lapangan dan tingkat kerusakan yang ditemukan. ”Biasanya kalau perbaikan rutin tidak sampai satu kilometer,” imbuh dia.

Tak hanya fokus pada pemeliharaan rutin, Pemkot Malang juga telah menyelesaikan rehabilitasi jalan di Jalan Rabat dan Jalan Songgolangit pada awal 2026. Pengerjaan proyek tersebut dimulai sejak Maret 2026 setelah proses kontrak rampung pada Februari lalu. Kini, rehabilitasi di dua ruas jalan tersebut telah selesai dan dapat dimanfaatkan masyarakat.

”Rehabilitasi jalan itu kami lakukan di Jalan Rabat dan Jalan Songgolangit. Kontraknya sudah Februari. Lalu dikerjakan Maret dan sekarang sudah selesai,” terangnya.

Bagus menambahkan, rehabilitasi jalan tersebut merupakan bagian dari program Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) KPK yang rutin dilaksanakan pemerintah daerah sebagai bentuk penguatan tata kelola pembangunan yang transparan dan terukur.

Melalui langkah tersebut, Pemkot Malang berharap kualitas infrastruktur jalan semakin baik sehingga mampu menunjang mobilitas warga sekaligus mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah.
