JATIMTIMES – Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Kota Batu sukses mengukuhkan posisinya sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan madrasah terbaik di Jawa Timur. Hal ini diketahui lewat capaian mentereng di momen kelulusan wisuda angkatan ke-47 di UMM Dome, Sabtu (13/6/2026).

Lembaga pendidikan berbasis keagamaan ini untuk tingkat provinsi, melesat ke peringkat kelima terbaik di Jawa Timur dalam hal jumlah persentase siswa yang sukses diterima di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN).

Hingga saat proses seleksi nasional bergulir, tercatat sudah ada 165 siswa-siswi terbaik dari madrasah ini yang dinyatakan lolos dan resmi diterima di berbagai PTN favorit.

Kepala MAN Kota Batu, Farhadi, mengungkapkan rasa syukur yang mendalam atas lompatan prestasi dan perkembangan luar biasa yang ditunjukkan oleh madrasah yang dipimpinnya dari tahun ke tahun.

"MAN Kota Batu ini makin tahun alhamdulillah perkembangannya makin luar biasa. Tahun ini yang diterima di PTN sampai saat ini, proses masih berjalan, ada 165 anak," ujar Farhadi.

Dikatakannya, keberhasilan meloloskan ratusan siswa ke kampus negeri ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa kualitas akademik madrasah saat ini sudah sangat kompetitif dan siap bersaing ketat di jalur masuk perguruan tinggi. Bahkan dari ratusan siswa yang lolos tersebut, beberapa di antaranya berhasil menembus jurusan dengan keketatan yang sangat tinggi pada faset akademis tingkat nasional.

"Ada empat anak yang diterima di Fakultas Kedokteran, termasuk salah satunya adalah putranya Pak Nurudin," katanya.

Kemajuan ini pun berdampak langsung pada tingginya animo masyarakat untuk menyekolahkan anaknya di MAN Kota Batu, di mana kuota penerimaan siswa baru untuk tahun ajaran mendatang dipastikan terus melonjak.

Pihak sekolah mencatat, daya tampung untuk siswa baru di kelas 10 akan diproyeksikan menyentuh angka 504 siswa yang terbagi ke dalam 14 kelas.

Melihat performa sekolah yang terus menanjak, Farhadi yang telah mengabdi selama tiga dekade di bawah naungan pemerintah ini merasa bangga bisa mengakhiri masa tugasnya jelang purna dengan catatan prestasi sekolah binaannya yang manis.

"Saya sudah mengabdi di pemerintah itu selama 30 tahun. Dan ini mungkin adalah momen wisuda yang terakhir bagi saya sebelum pensiun. Tapi saya sangat bersyukur, alhamdulillah MAN Kota Batu memang sudah kelihatan maju, baik dari segi prestasi maupun kelengkapan fasilitasnya," pungkas Farhadi.
