JATIMTIMES - Gempa bumi berkekuatan magnitudo (M) 5,6 mengguncang wilayah tenggara Pacitan, Jawa Timur, pada Sabtu (27/6/2026) pukul 14.47 WIB. Meski getarannya dirasakan di sejumlah wilayah, Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) memastikan gempa tersebut tidak berpotensi menimbulkan tsunami.

Berdasarkan informasi resmi BMKG, episentrum gempa berada sekitar 86 kilometer di tenggara Pacitan, Jawa Timur, tepatnya di koordinat 8,96 derajat Lintang Selatan dan 111,16 derajat Bujur Timur.

BMKG mencatat pusat gempa Pacitan berada pada kedalaman 10 kilometer di bawah permukaan laut sehingga tergolong sebagai gempa dangkal.

"Gempa Mag:5.6 (86 km Tenggara Pacitan-Jatim)," tulis BMKG dalam informasi awal yang dipublikasikan melalui laman resminya.

Hingga berita ini ditulis, belum ada laporan resmi mengenai kerusakan bangunan maupun korban akibat gempa tersebut. BMKG mengingatkan bahwa informasi tersebut merupakan hasil analisis awal sehingga masih dapat berubah seiring masuknya data terbaru.

"Informasi ini mengutamakan kecepatan, sehingga hasil pengolahan data belum stabil dan bisa berubah seiring kelengkapan data," jelas BMKG.

Tak lama setelah gempa utama terjadi, BMKG kembali melaporkan adanya aktivitas gempa susulan. Melalui akun resmi BMKG di media sosial X, tercatat sedikitnya empat gempa susulan yang terjadi pada pukul 15.02 WIB, 15.05 WIB, 15.10 WIB, dan 15.12 WIB.

Gempa susulan tersebut memiliki kekuatan berkisar antara magnitudo 2,4 hingga 2,5. Hingga kini, BMKG masih terus memantau perkembangan aktivitas seismik di wilayah tersebut dan mengimbau masyarakat agar tetap tenang serta hanya mengikuti informasi resmi yang dikeluarkan BMKG.
