JATIMTIMES - Kebakaran lahan kembali terjadi di Kota Batu. Kali ini api melalap sekitar 0,5 hektare rumpun bambu di Jalan Raya Pandanrejo, tepat di sisi barat kawasan Batu Love Garden (Baloga), Kecamatan Bumiaji, Jumat (10/7/2026).

Beruntung, respons cepat petugas gabungan berhasil mencegah kobaran api meluas ke area lain. Sesaat setelah insiden kebakaran, petugas Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kota Batu langsung mengerahkan personel Regu Brama beserta armada menuju lokasi.

“Kami menerima laporan dan langsung bergerak menuju lokasi. Personel tiba kemudian segera melakukan pemadaman agar api tidak meluas ke rumpun bambu di sekitarnya,” kata Hartono.

Setibanya di lokasi, petugas mendapati api telah membakar area rumpun bambu dengan kondisi angin yang cukup kencang. Pemadaman dilakukan menggunakan pancaran air dari mobil pemadam.

Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pembasahan di seluruh titik bara untuk memastikan api benar-benar padam. Pemadaman dan pendinginan berlangsung hampir dua jam hingga akhirnya dinyatakan selesai sekitar pukul 16.30 WIB.

Berdasarkan hasil asesmen awal BPBD Kota Batu bersama petugas pemadam, kebakaran diduga dipicu oleh aktivitas pembakaran sisa ranting dan bambu kering hasil pembersihan lahan yang ditinggalkan tanpa pengawasan.

Akibat tiupan angin, kobaran api dengan cepat merambat ke rumpun bambu yang masih hidup hingga menghanguskan lahan seluas sekitar 0,5 hektare.

“Dugaan sementara, api berasal dari pembakaran sampah atau sisa ranting bambu yang ditinggal pemiliknya. Saat kondisi angin cukup kencang, api dengan cepat merambat ke rumpun bambu sehingga kebakaran meluas,” jelas Hartono.

Meski demikian, tidak ada korban jiwa maupun kerugian material berupa bangunan dalam peristiwa tersebut. Petugas juga berhasil mencegah api merembet ke area yang lebih luas, termasuk kawasan di sekitar objek wisata Baloga.

Hartono mengimbau masyarakat untuk tidak melakukan pembakaran terbuka, terutama pada musim kemarau yang identik dengan kondisi vegetasi kering dan angin yang mudah mempercepat penyebaran api.

“Kami mengimbau masyarakat agar tidak membakar sampah, ranting, ataupun vegetasi kering tanpa pengawasan. Jika memang harus melakukan pembakaran, pastikan api benar-benar padam sebelum meninggalkan lokasi. Apabila menemukan titik api, segera laporkan agar bisa segera ditangani dan tidak berkembang menjadi kebakaran yang lebih besar,” tutupnya.
