JATIMTIMES - Sukses besar diraih Borneo FC setelah menaklukkan tuan rumah Arema FC dengan skor meyakinkan 3-1 dalam lanjutan BRI Super League di Stadion Kanjuruhan, Kabupaten Malang, Minggu (26/10/2025) sore. Kemenangan ini membuat Borneo memperpanjang rekor tak terkalahkan mereka menjadi delapan pertandingan.

Sejak awal pertandingan, Borneo menunjukkan dominasi nyata lewat skema permainan kolektif yang langsung mengancam lini belakang Arema. Gol cepat datang pada menit ke-3 melalui kaki penyerang Mariano Peralta, yang dengan sigap menaklukkan kiper Arema Adi Satryo, suasana di Kanjuruhan langsung menjadi hening seketika.

Meski sudah unggul, Borneo tetap menekan dan memang pantas. Arema yang tampil tanpa dua pemain kunci menjadi makin terbuka setelah Julian Guevara dan Bayu Setiawan diganjar kartu merah, yang kemudian mengubah jalannya pertandingan secara dramatis.

Di babak kedua, usaha Arema untuk bangkit sempat terlihat ketika Dalberto Luan mencetak gol penalti pada menit ke-90+7. Namun kemenangan muncul lebih besar bagi Borneo lewat gol tambahan dari Douglas Coutinho menit ke-78 dan Juan Villa pada injury time, tepatnya menit ke-90+11, yang menegaskan dominasi tim tamu.

Kemenangan ini makin memperkokoh posisi Borneo di puncak klasemen sementara Super League. Sebelum laga ini, Borneo berhasil mengumpulkan 18 poin dari enam pertandingan tanpa kalah. 

Sementara bagi Arema, kekalahan ini menjadi pukulan telak karena harus bertanding dengan dua pemain lebih sedikit dan gagal memanfaatkan momentum.

Dari segi skema permainan, keunggulan angka pemain memungkinkan Borneo mengeksplorasi lebar lapangan dan menciptakan peluang berbahaya berkali-kali. Arema yang pada babak pertama kesulitan membongkar pertahanan rapat tamu akhirnya harus menyerah.

Gol penalti Dalberto sempat memberi harapan, namun gol Juan Villa di penghujung laga menunjukkan bahwa Borneo tidak puas hanya dengan kemenangan, mereka datang untuk menuntaskan.

Bagi pendukung tim dari Samarinda ini, kemenangan ini bukan hanya soal angka, tapi juga bukti bahwa tim mampu tampil konsisten dan profesional di momen sulit. Sedangkan bagi Arema, ini menjadi titik peringatan bahwa disiplin pemain dan strategi harus dirapatkan ulang jika ingin keluar dari lubang hasil buruk.

Borneo FC tampil matang dan pantas untuk membawa pulang tiga poin penuh dari kandang berat seperti Kanjuruhan. Arema FC harus menerima kenyataan pahit dengan dua pemain di luar lapangan dan tak bisa membalikkan keadaan. Laga ini bisa menjadi momentum pembuktian bagi Borneo, sekaligus wake-up call bagi Arema.
