JATIMTIMES - Kabar meninggalnya Mohammad Imam Muslimin alias Yai Mim mengejutkan publik setelah tersangka kasus dugaan pelecehan seksual dan pornografi itu mengembuskan napas terakhir saat masih mejadi tahanan Polresta Malang Kota, Senin (13/4/2026) siang. Sebab, selama menjalani masa penahanan, Yai Mim dalam kondisi sehat dan kerap mengisi hari-harinya dengan memberikan tausiyah kepada sesama tahanan.

Kasi Humas Polresta Malang Kota, Lukman Sobikhin, mengungkapkan bahwa selama masa penahanan, tidak ada indikasi gangguan kesehatan serius yang dialami oleh yang bersangkutan. Bahkan, aktivitas kesehariannya di dalam rutan berjalan normal.

“Selama di tahanan, kondisinya baik-baik saja. Tidak ada tanda-tanda sakit yang serius,” jelas Lukman saat di kantornya.

Tak hanya itu, Yai Mim juga dikenal memiliki kebiasaan memberikan tausiyah kepada tahanan lain. Aktivitas tersebut menjadi bagian dari kesehariannya selama menjalani masa penahanan.

“Yang bersangkutan memang sering memberikan tausiyah kepada sesama tahanan. Itu sudah menjadi kebiasaannya selama di dalam,” imbuh Lukman.

Meski menempati kamar sendiri, Yai Mim tetap berinteraksi dengan tahanan lain, terutama dalam kegiatan keagamaan. Kehadirannya bahkan disebut membawa suasana berbeda di lingkungan rutan.

“Habit-nya memang seperti itu, sering berbagi tausiyah. Tapi tetap, perlakuannya sama dengan tahanan lain, tidak ada yang diistimewakan,” tegas Lukman.

Pihak kepolisian juga memastikan bahwa selama berada di dalam tahanan, tidak ditemukan adanya kekerasan ataupun perlakuan di luar prosedur terhadap yang bersangkutan. “Tidak ada kekerasan selama di tahanan, semuanya sesuai prosedur,” tambahnya.

Namun, kondisi tersebut berubah secara tiba-tiba pada siang hari. Sekitar pukul 13.45 WIB, Yai Mim dinyatakan meninggal dunia setelah sebelumnya mengalami penurunan kondisi secara mendadak saat akan menjalani pemeriksaan.

Untuk diketahui, kondisinya tiba-tiba lemas saat akan menjalani pemeriksaan menjadi pelapor kepada penyidik atas kasusnya hingga akhirnya dilarikan ke Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) dr. Saiful Anwar Kota Malang.

Sedang Yai Mim menjalani masa tahanan pada Senin (19/1/2026). Penahanan ini didasari oleh banyaknya laporan dan aduan dari masyarakat yang mengaku resah atas perbuatan tersangka di lingkungannya.
